Goodbye May, Hello June

The month of May is finally over. I hope that you all had a good month of May. The last day of May was rainy in our place in Bavaria, Germany. There was a strong rain accompanied with strong wind, lightnings and thunders. It was so far the strongest rain I experienced since living in this country. I guess some people were scared during that natural phenomenon. I heard over the radio that it brought some damages in the nearby places.

The sixth month of the year is finally here. The first day of June was quite rainy and cloudy almost the whole day in our place. I never saw sunshine today compared to the past days in May. The rain yesterday and today made our garden happy. I can almost see the plants and the flowers smiling in our garden..wink!

Don't you know that the month of June was named after the Roman goddess Juno? She is the wife of Jupiter, equivalent to the Greek goddess Hera. June is also known as the month of marriages. Some considered it a good luck to get married during this month.

If you are born in June, your horoscope is Cancer and your birthstones are the pearl, the Moonstone (gemstone), and the Alexandrite which means health and longevity. Its birth flowers are the honeysuckle and the rose.

Got A Delivery

I was in the computer room this afternoon when somebody knocked so loudly at our door. That is the disadvantage of not having a doorbell but I like it better that way. I went downstairs and a man was standing in front of our door. He said, "You have a delivery". I forgot that hubby told me last Saturday that the thick hollow blocks for our terrace will be delivered this afternoon. I don't have any idea how much it cost because it was also not stated on the delivery statement. We got 240 hollow blocks delivery today. I tried to carry one but it was too heavy for me. They are lying now outside. I hope our little home improvement project will be done soon.

Got An Anonymous Call

I received an anonymous call this morning. I don't have any idea who was calling on the phone. That was also the reason why I didn't mentioned the German standard greetings by telling the family name and a greeting like "guten Morgen" (good morning), guten Tag (good day), etc. I was asking the other line of who she was because I am quite afraid that these might be one of those telephone callers who are scamming again. The first time I asked her, she did not answered because I said it in English. When I already asked her in German language, she immediately told me who and from where she was calling. I did not expected that the telephone number of my dentist is already private now. The secretary told me that I can already have another dental appointment tomorrow.

I am just very careful now with anonymous callers because we already had horrible experience from them. That was also the reason why we changed our telephone number into private. We are glad that we did it. The stress from anonymous callers is finally over.

Beautiful Sunday

It is indeed a beautiful Sunday! The weather was a bit chilly in the afternoon as we went walking. When the cold air blows, you can feel it in your skin. Good that I wore a wind breaker during our walk. The weather was friendly overall because we had sunshine the whole day.

I also did some laundry and a bit cleaning in the morning. During lunch time, a friend called me to have lunch in their house. That was a good lunch because it was exactly the food that I am planning to cook today. I ended up not cooking anymore. Thanks a lot Jo for the lunch and the chitchatting.

The two hours walk we had on the hills was also a very good exercise. At the same time, we also enjoyed seeing the nature around. I guess I need to always go walking now because the weather is getting very better since the past weeks.

The bridge where we always pass everytime we go walking. It is slowly getting green in our surrounding. I am happily savoring the spirit of spring season. I love it especially when I see the flowers blooming in our garden.

Visit to the ENT Doctor

I really don't have an appointment with the doctor last Monday. I just accompanied a friend and her daughter who had an appointment with ENT (Ear Nose and Throat) doctor, called in German language are HNO (Hals, Nase und Ohren) Arzt. My friend brought me with her to help her translate if ever she cannot understand any German words. That is the problem here in Germany because not all doctors can speak English. I had the same problem five years ago since I don't speak and understand German during those times.I really had a difficulty with communication.

That was a perfect timing last Monday and I am thankful that I accompanied my friend. Its been a long time since I wanted to visit the ENT doctor due to some problems with my left ear. Sometimes, I hear some annoying sounds inside it. The doctor checked it quickly and he said that there is this so-called negative pressure in my left ear. I don't have an appointment that time, so the doctor advised me to have an appointment for next week for more intensive check-up. I hope that it is not too bad.

What's Up

Good evening folks! It seems that I am always busy most of the time. Yes, I am! and truly very very busy. I had quite a scary experience some minutes ago. I guess scary is not really the adjective for it. I was just nervous after knowing that I can't already view one of my sites. I felt so uneasy because I thought, I already lost that site of mine. Good to know that after a thorough investigation, it is still available. It was a false alarm. I wish to share the whole story in my other blog tomorrow. I am quite tired and sleepy now after having a long day and night. Goodnight Europe!

Beautiful Day

We had such a beautiful day today. I am thankful about that. It seems that spring is truly coming soon. The weather was not so cold anymore and I hope that it will be friendlier the next days. There are a lot to do this coming spring and summer time. We will be building a two-car garage and a terrace. We might also fix our bathroom. That is also the reason why I always look for bathroom faucets and also for bathroom ideas everytime we visit the home design store. I can't complain for anything today. Everything just went perfect especially after spending some hours in the gym and sauna. Thanks to my friend Joy for the company. Have a great evening folks and enjoy the coming weekend. Good Sources of Vitamins

I believed most and maybe all of us have ideas about vitamins. I remember my Mother who was always telling me when I was still young, to eat a lot of fruits and vegetables because they are good sources of vitamins and minerals. That is really very true that the best vitamins can be obtained by including fruits and vegetables in our diet. My Mother for example was always telling me to eat squash vegetable because it is a good source of vitamin A and is really good for the eyes. Eating especially fresh fruits and vegetables is also very good for our health and body. I am not a nutritionist but basically I have knowledge about this thing. Good to know, that I have been including these foods in our menu. How about you? It's time to go down and eat some kiwis. Want some?

Personal Coach

I believed you have an idea of what a "Personal or Professional Coach" is doing. Last weekend, I met some friends in Berlin. One of them told me that he hired someone as his personal coach. He wanted to lose weight and that is the reason why he hired such kind of professional. He also visits the gym every week but I forgot to ask how often. I am wondering if he is also taking some muscle building supplements. I did not bother to ask him anyway. He said that he is slowly losing some excess weight now and I am happy for him. I wish to also hire one but it is not included in my budget. Even hubby is telling me if I want to enroll to a gym to also lose my extra pounds. I am still thinking about it. I guess there are still other ways to lose weight. I know one way..not eating too much! Have a wonderful day to all!

Health is The Most Important

I had a talk with a friend last time and it was quite a good one. I asked her, if ever you are given one wish, what would it be? Her answer; lots and lots of money! Why not? But if you have to ask me, I would rather say, good health always. There is a saying that says, "There is only one health but a lot of sicknesses." I hope you agree with me. Some sicknesses might include heart disease, diabetics, cerebral palsy, high blood pressure, kidney stone, migraine, cancer and many more. And yes, maybe the worst thing is when you are spiritually sick. That is also the reason why we always need to take care of our body both physically and spiritaully. Avoid vices like too much smoking and drinking alcohols. Envy, gluttony and lust can also be forms of spiritual sickness which are not really good. I wish each and everyone a good health always!

Simple But Happy Life

I have quite a simple but happy life. We don't have a luxurious living but we have all the basic things we need. We just live according to our means. Hubby works to pay our monthly bills and all the things we need in our day to day living. When there are extra finances, we buy some things that we need. I am happy to get a new laptop and DSLR camera as Christmas presents. I would love to have a blackberry storm but it is not anymore in our budget..lol!

Sometimes life is just so simple. It is the simpliest thing that makes a person happy. I am thankful that I have quite a good life right now. Trials and problems might be always along the way but these are only challenges which test us how strong and determined we are to face it. Besides, God sees everything and He won't give us crosses that we cannot carry.

Wish I'm Home

I always believed in the saying, "There is no place like home". A lot of people had been asking me if I want to go back again in my home country in the future. I already found my second home here in Europe but I always believed, that one day, I will find my way back home.

How I just wish that I am home this time...even just to give comfort especially to a loveone. Sometimes it is just difficult to be away from your loveones but there are always ways where you can meet again....and again!

One of the beautiful scenes I miss from my home country. There is where I used to sit especially in the afternoon watching the beauty as the sun goes down....what a priceless view of nature and I truly miss it!

Weekend Etc.

I am quite tired and sleepy now. I guess it is time to slowly sign-off. My Sunday was quite good compared to yesterday. I was so tired almost the whole day yesterday because I did not sleep good for around two days. There are just some things that are bothering me. Not really so bad but I can't avoid to worry. Last night, I had quite a good sleep after a very tiring day. Anyway guys, I have a question for you, do diet pills work? Is anybody out there who tried it successfully. I told hubby that I really wanted to lose weight but everytime I see food, my carvings are just uncontrollable. I am still trying to fight this problem until now. I have a good news today. I only cook some vegetables and hubby love it too. I am also thankful that we had a lovely weather today....blue sky and sunshine, it was truly a wonderful day! Goddnight folks! Scary Driving in Winter Wonderland

It is truly scary driving during winter season. The past snowy days hundreds of people driving on the streets and highways in Germany had accidents. Yesterday the weather was so bad again. It was snowing the whole day. It was my first time to drive on this very bad weather. Can you imagine the street below where you will be driving? I have no choice because I have to drive hubby to the hospital for his check-up. Sad to say, I forgot to ask one doctor about Lipofuze. On the other hand, I was grateful because we returned home safe and in good health. Hubby had a check-up because of his broken bone on the wrist. You know why it was broken? He had an accident last week in the work. He was slide on the snow and he is thankful that his hip did not hit the ground first. He was quite sad about his situation because he said that he better go to work than feeling half disabled. Accidents just happened sometimes. That is also the reason that we have to be very careful especially when driving and walking on snow.

December is Finally Here!

Good morning everyone! Wow, I can't believe that December is already here. I hope that we will all be having a wonderful celebration of the holidays. Christmas is in the air. Some of my Christmas decorations are already up. I hope to finish all before the end of this week. Another year is almost coming too. We have a lot of plans for new year. Buying a new car is cancelled in exchange for
metal building. We will be trying to have more house renovation than buying a new car for next year. I believed that is a better idea. But now, we will presently concentrate for this year's holiday season.

I also hope that hubby will be better soon after being brought to the hospital yesterday. God is always good because he no longer need an operation. He had an accident in the work yesterday. Be careful guys especially in this snowy winter. Drive safetly too!

Advent Candles

This year is my first time to make Advent Candles. I used to buy some the past years. Last Sunday, I finally did it. Hubby was asking me that morning what am I doing with that wooden box and all those pine trees cut from our garden. I told him that I will make my Advent Candles. He was surprised that I finally had one after around thirty minutes of making it. I finally lit my first Advent candle last Sunday. Christmas is around the corner.

Learning Photography

I always love to take pictures of anything that catches my camera. Images from flowers to trees, insects, scenery, buildings, places are only some of my favorite objects. I bought a new Canon DSLR with 550D model or EOS Rebel T2I around two weeks ago and I am quite happy about it. I want to learn more about photography and I hope to catch better images with this new DSLR camera. I believed I will learn more in the future. I also bought some photography magazines to have more tips and information about photography. Taking images with my new cam is another challenge for me. Who knows one day photography will turn into another career. I am just kidding! Goodnight folks. I guess I am getting sleepy now. It is time for me to slowly sign-off. Happy Weekend!

We should be going somewhere for a trip today but since there are just a lot of things to do both online and offline, we ended up staying at home and did some of the errands that we need to do. Hubby had written two letters of cancellation for our car insurances. We found some cheaper car insurance online and we immediately changed our old expensive ones. Now, he is browsing for a cheaper electric provider and I don't know if he already tried to browse about male enhancement reviews. I believed he never did. I am also not done with my Christmas decorations. Our Christmas tree is already up since the other Friday. I am still looking for my other Christmas decors and lights. Now, I am currently loading my second laundry. I also need to fold the bedding that are already dry. I need to decorate later the four Advent's candles. I still have to do some assignments online. What a busy housewife I am.
