Blog Stats ..Google PR Update

I guess Big G updated blogsites PR again. It is quite frustrating but this blog turn its Page rank from 2 to 0..Now so good but that happens sometimes. I am also giving you a little update about the statistics of this blog.

Alexa: 501,932
technorati: 448 (this is quite strange because before this was 666, then turned to more that 500 and then now..see that)
Yahoo backlinks: 21,167 (base on My pagerank)
Google backlinks: 232

What Happened to My Technorati

I just noticed yesterday that my technorati authority went down. I don't know exactly what happened. As far as I can remember in the month of May, my technorati authority was 666. Last month, it went down to 565. Yesterday it became 463. Do you have any idea?? As far as I know, the more you keep posting articles in your site, you will increase your technorati authority but why mine keeps on decreasing. I hope to found out next time why this is happening. Anyway, I better share about fat burner reviews. Any idea what is the best fat burner?? I just read the best fat burners at Fatburner.net. Do you need more informations, then browse their site!! have fun!!

Blog Stats Update

Just a bit update of the statistics of this blog. Sometimes in February this blog already had a Google Pagerank 3. Sad to know that sometime in March, I loss my PR. Sometime in April, I regained my PR but it wne to down to 2.. I don't exactly know how Google computes this!! but anyway, I made a research last March about Google PR, Spam blog and Link Scams...some answers to my questions were answered.

Special thanks to Google for recognizing my blog. I believed I also deserve it since I really dedicate my time, effort and hard work in this blog.

Web Designing

I always wanted to learn about web site design. I always find it exciting besides that I am also building now my sites. I admit I still have to learn a lot of things especially web developments. I hope next time I can have the time and resources to learn about all of these.

At maxwebdesign.eu, I found a lot of articles which are very interesting. It has a lot of informative topics raging from web design, engine optimization, SEO, Google pagerank, IP Scheme, Programming, link popularity and a lot more. I am happy visiting this site because I learned some things and got some ideas about building my sites and informations about blogging too.

What really caught my attention was the topic about Web designer's Wish. I was never into online web trainings and even don't read books, brochures and tutorials about web designing. In this post is a website where you can learn web based trainings. I will see if I can try it next time.

Hi to everyone!! A lot of people might not understand what really PR or PageRank means in Blogosphere..I just known it for quite not too long.. I also have to admit that until now, I still have to learn a lot about the Blogging World!!

This topic about PageRank just interest me. I searched it in Google and found and grabbed it from my favorite Wikipedia.

What is Google PageRank

PageRank is a link analysis algorithm that assigns a numerical weighting to each element of a hyperlinked set of documents, such as the World Wide Web, with the purpose of "measuring" its relative importance within the set. The algorithm may be applied to any collection of entities with reciprocal quotations and references. The numerical weight that it assigns to any given element E is also called the PageRank of E and denoted by PR(E).

The name PageRank is a trademark of Google. The PageRank process has been patented (U.S. Patent 6,285,999 ). The patent is not assigned to Google but to Stanford University.

Mathematical PageRanks (out of 100) for a simple network (PageRanks reported by Google are rescaled logarithmically). Page C has a higher PageRank than Page E, even though it has fewer links to it: the link it has is much higher valued. A web surfer who chooses a random link on every page (but with 15% likelihood jumps to a random page on the whole web) is going to be on Page E for 8.1% of the time. (The 15% likelihood of jumping to an arbitrary page corresponds to a damping factor of 85%.) Without damping, all web surfers would eventually end up on Pages A, B, or C, and all other pages would have PageRank zero. Page A is assumed to link to all pages in the web, because it has no outgoing links.

In essence, Google interprets a link from page A to page B as a vote, by page A, for page B. But, Google looks at more than the sheer volume of votes, or links a page receives; it also analyzes the page that casts the vote. In other words, a PageRank results from a "ballot" among all the other pages on the World Wide Web about how important a page is. A hyperlink to a page counts as a vote of support. A page that is linked to by many pages with high PageRank receives a high rank itself. If there are no links to a web page there is no support for that page.

The scale for PageRank is logarithmic like the Richter Scale and roughly based upon quantity of inbound links as well as importance of the page providing the link.

Numerous academic papers concerning PageRank have been published since Page and Brin's original paper.^[2] In practice, the PageRank concept has proven to be vulnerable to manipulation, and extensive research has been devoted to identifying falsely inflated PageRank and ways to ignore links from documents with falsely inflated PageRank.

Alternatives to the PageRank algorithm include the HITS algorithm proposed by Jon Kleinberg, the IBM CLEVER project and the TrustRank algorithm.

Blog Ranking Again!!

How are you doing this Sunday!! hope everything is doing great!!
I talked to my expert mentor, carlota last night. She told me about blog rankings and PR and mentioned to visit mypagerank.net. I can no longer visit the site last night because it's already midnight and I already turned off my computer.

I was surprised checking today that this blog already have a Google PR of 3 .....whew!!!WAW!!..as in WOW!!! dang, I was so happy!!! what can you expect anyway!! I really want to express my gratitude to Choco and all online friends who teach me all about blogging stuff!!!I know, I am still learning in this crazy, funny world of blogging!!

I know I can write and express myself, but with regards to all knowledge in this blogworld, I still need to learn a lot..time to time I am learning!! so friends if you have some ideas, opinions, suggestions to my sites, please just let me know..You can leave comments or anything that I can improve my blogging!! you are very welcome!!! but please no nasty stuff!! Rank Widgets

I checked today my blog rank at rankwidget.com. With my 3 months old blog, I am already in the 22,185 ranks in Technorati. I guess for a very new blog, this is not so bad. what do you think?? But sometimes the ranking varies, I mean if you check it there, you don't always have the same ranking sometimes it is getting high and sometimes low numbers.. I still don't know exactly what are the basis for ranking. I hope I will check and research it next time.
