Pests in Our Home and Garden

This is not really a funny topic about pests in our home and garden. Are you having the same problem like ours? This is especially true especially if these pests are inside our homes. More on that, there are people who are afraid of pests such as flies, rats, ants, bees, snails, slugs, centipedes and the like.

This afternoon,  when I was working in our garden, I was so mad because there are a lot of slugs eating the leaves and flowers of my plants. I believed you are very familiar about this kind of pest which is a shell-less terrestrial gastropod mollusk. I already saw different kinds and colors of slugs in our garden.

Yesterday, when I was watering the plants, I thought I saw a small snake in our garden because this huge slug looked like one. It was slowly getting dark and I can't really clearly see if it was a snake or a slug. I almost cry for help to hubby but I just remained calm and relax thinking that our neighbors might  hear me when I shout. I ended up getting a salt and poured it to the huge slug.

I also remember that last week, a friend of mine who want to plant vegetables in their garden, asked me if I have any idea on how to get rid of these pests. I told her to consult the experts about this problem.

There is also one thing that annoyed me the past two weeks. I was surprised when I saw many black ants in our bathroom. I asked hubby what to do to get rid of these pests. I remembered that I bought some ant control in a garden store last month. For some reasons, I bought it because I was thinking that I need it this summer. This is the time of the year when I see a lot of ants in our garden. I did not expect that these pests will also attack the interior of our home. I ended up buying more of the ant control because they are also invading our guest room and storage room.

I was so thankful that I seldom see ants inside our home now. Thanks to the ant control that helped us get rid of this pest. I am also very thankful that we really don't have termites, cockroaches and rats inside our home.

What I am concern now are the slugs and snails in our garden. If you are an expert about this, please leave a comment to help us and the plants and flowers in our garden. Thanks in advance!
