Today's Flowers- Roses in Our Garden
These are just some roses in our garden. The one I got here is not growing good. I just discovered that there are a lot of ants under the ground surrounding this rose plant. I hope I can take away those ants next time. This rose has three flowers with different colors. The other one is fading and dying, the other just reach its maturity and the other one has fresh red color....such a beauty of nature!

The roses are so interesting when the colours change like that!! One insect repellant that I like is borax and icing sugar, mixed 50/50. It is safe for birds and mammals. I find it works indoors but not out.

A lovely rose, but do get rid of the ants and give the rose a good shovelfull of animal manure lightly worked into the soil and a deep watering. Tha ants let in air amongst the roots so they dry out and sap the strength of your plant.
