Emergency Visit to the Eye Doctor

When emergency arises,  the best thing to do is to consult the professional or experts immediately.  This needs to be done as soon as possible especially if your health is at risk.

I don't exactly know what happened  the other day. I just had a walk for around two  hours in our area, went home and at night,  I already had a problem with my left  eye. It started to get  itchy after our walk last Sunday. At  night, I was already rubbing it and I guess it  was  irritated.  I thought it was only a pimple that grew in my eyelid but yesterday  it became bigger.

I applied a cream last night  for infection hoping it will get better  when I woke up this morning but  it is still swollen.  After taking my breakfast today, I decided to go to the eye doctor immediately to ask for medication.  He  gave me a prescription. This eyedrop is an  antibiotic and I  need to apply it four times a day.  I hope  my swollen eye will get better soon.

I actually asked the doctor what it was but he said my eye has a sort of infection. He cannot really explain exactly what it is. While searching online,  I can probably say, this is called a stye.

According to wikipedia,   "a stye is an infection of the sebaceous glands of Zeis at the base of the eyelashes, or an infection of the apocrine sweat glands of Moll. External styes form on the outside of the lids and can be seen as small red bumps. Styes are most commonly caused by the blocking of an oil gland at the base of the eyelash. Although they are particularly common in teenagers, styes are experienced by people of all ages. Styes can be triggered by poor nutrition, sleep deprivation, lack of hygiene, lack of water, and rubbing of the eyes".

I guess that is all for now.   I  am trying  my best to go to bed  earlier now to practice a better and healthier life. I can probably avoid having a stye by  going to bed earlier. Cheers and stay happy and healthy all the time.

My Valentine Wishlist

I guess it is not really bad to wish for some presents  this Valentine's Day.  It is normal for women to be happy when they receive some presents during this special occasion.  I  may  have a lot of Valentine wishlist but most of them are not material ones. How about you?

Praying for Good Health Always for the Whole  Family

Foe me, this is  the first thing in my wishlist. Health is wealth and we can never buy it. You might be able to  afford medicine and to pay for hospital bills but still  you can never buy health. This is the reason why I am always praying for good health always for my family, friends and relatives. Of course, we also need to take care of our body by not taking vices like drinking and smoking.

Love and Harmony in Our Home

I never  had a big discussion, misunderstanding  or quarrel with my DH. We always talk about things. We respect each other and  respect is  always the foundation of love. If there is respect, there is love and when there is love, harmony always prevails. We may not have all the luxuries in life but we have  the basic things a man needs to survive in this planet...Food, shelter and clothing are the most important ones.

Chances and Opportunities  to Travel  More

It has always been my dream to see the beauty of this world.  I am thankful that I had  already seen a part of it. Having been to over 30 countries, I still want  to experience more. This planet has simply a lot of  amazing places to explore. Even one life is not enough to see everything. This is the reason  why I want to travel when when finances, time and health are still present.

MOST OF ALL, I PRAY FOR PEACE TO ALL MANKIND.

Enjoy your Valentine's  Day but be safe! God bless everyone!

Busy Sunday Doing Home Chores

Hello February! The love month is finally here! I just hope that you did had a wonderful month of January. So far, everything went great for me and I believed for my whole family as well. I am quite happy and contented with what I had accomplished last month. I might be little things only but for me those were already great ones. Besides, I learned to be contented with small things. We sometimes disregards little things but these are the things that are really important and make us truly happy. Well probably because, I only have shallow happiness.

Today is Sunday, the second day of February. Nature woke me up at 8:00 in the morning. I usually wake up at around 9 especially during weekends. Since I need to do some personal necessity this morning, I was forced to wake up to go to the bathroom. I did not went back to bed anymore and decided to take my tea time. While eating two toasted bread with butter and marmalade on it, I was also listening to the radio. There were  good songs played  that morning especially from Adele and Bastille.

After taking my light breakfast, I did the laundry. Now, it is done but still need to be folded. I was also dusting my ceramic and porcelain collections from Italy and Poland. The vitrine or glass cabinet was also cleaned. I can't imagined the dirt and dust with all of these stuffs. I am glad that I already started the ones in the dining room.

After that, I started cooking for lunch. I only cooked scrambled eggs with onion and tomato. I also had some bacon and German sausages. Since there were rice left-over, I did fried it and had a delicious fried rice with Paela powder.

This afternoon, I already started my online tasks including  blog hopping and updating some blogs as well. It is almost dinner time now. I need to prepare for dinner before DH comes.

Probably, this evening I will be watching  my favorite TV channel, the Welt Spiegel or World Mirror. It is actually a news reportage from around the world.

I guess that is all for now. I have to sign-off for awhile and prepare  our dinner. I wish everyone a great month of February, full of love, contentment, happiness and blessings!

Take care everyone!

Tips on How to Conserve Energy While Saving Money and Helping the Environment

Conserving energy is a big concern for everyone these days - if not for the sake of helping the environment, then for the sake of saving money on utility bills. One myth about greening your home is that it takes a lot of money to start with or that you have to buy all-new appliances if you want it to make any difference. That's simply not true. Here are six easy ways you can "green" your home without paying an exorbitant amount.

1. Stop Using Paper Towels
You can keep a couple around for emergency spills, but for house cleaning and regular use, go for cloth washrags. Keep a lot of cloth rags on hand so that you always have one handy when you need it, then just toss the dirty ones in with the laundry whenever you do a load.

2. Unplug Unused Electronics
Even when your electronics are off, they can still consume lots of energy if they're plugged in. Save on your electric bill by unplugging your laptop, phone, and even your TV when they're turned off or you're not using them.

Knowing this Musical Instrument Called Cello

Have you tried watching  an orchestra show? Did you experience watching a musician who plays a musical instrument called Cello? If you ask me, I haven't been to an orchestra but a good friend of mine experienced one in Prague, Czech republic.

One time when I was watching a musical show on television, I saw someone who beautifully played the cello. I admired her for her performance which was really fantastic.

Anyone in the family who loves to play any musical instruments? His or her big day is about to come and still don't know what present you can give? You don't need to worry anymore. Choosing the perfect gift for a someone who love to play musical instruments is not that difficult.  If he or she loves to play a guitar, why not buy him/her a cool fender telecaster modern player. Who knows your loveone will develop  his/her talent for music  when he/she is practicing the right musical instrument. More on that, who knows he/she might be successful in the future . Good luck!
