This week seems to be a very busy week. There are a lot of offline chores that I need to do including organizing many stuffs at home.  Top on the list  is to organize my computer or working room. I also need to pack the box that I will be sending home next week. I already started packing it and hopefully I can finish it before weekend. This coming Monday the logistic company will pick it up.

Tonight, there was one thing that made me proud of myself. After eating our dinner, I always wash our dirty dishes because I want it all to be cleaned the next day. While letting the water  drain in the sink, I noticed that it is not  draining.

How was your first days of 2014? I hope everything went great and you are already starting the right path. Some might get a new job. Some might be in the process for promotion and others might be shifting for a new career. No matter what you are doing now, I just hope that you are on the right position to start for a better life.

I was mentioning last holiday season to DH that if I did not resigned being a banker, I might probably be on good position at the bank. I know, I am quite ambitious but I know I can do the job. I believed in my capacity and ability and the many positions I held at the bank before, I was already on the process. Sad to say, I did an early retirement to join my other half in other country, which I did not regretted.

New Year 2014 Inspiration!

Some more hours and 2014 is about to come. This means that we have to slowly say goodbye to 2013. I would say 2013 is a wonderful year for me and I hope for you too. Let's face  2014 with hope, love, peace to all mankind and harmony!

People wear polkadots, serve 12 kinds of round fruits on their tables and light firecrackers to usher in prosperity and drive evil spirits away. The traditions have a more commendable side to it— it makes the evening colorful, it brings families together in emotional reunions and many other good things.

May I suggest an additional good thing to add to our traditions? May I propose that we dedicate the first hour of the year to worship and prophecy?

At the stroke of midnight, my household would worship and raise our voices to honor God in an attempt to drown the “noise” of the world. Instead of driving away spirits, we invite the Holy Spirit to join us in thanking God. Then we open our Bibles and receive a verse as a guide for the New Year, even as we consult Scripture again and again throughout the year.

This additional tradition has brought me closer to God’s Word and has taught me to be guided by it. It makes my every day a New Year’s Day — a celebration of the Word! Rolly España."
