This Floating Chinese Restaurant in Amsterdam

We just saw this floating Chinese restaurant in Amsterdam when a had a canal cruise  in this city. It is actually called the Sea Palace. This pagoda-style restaurant is located near the center of Amsterdam near the Central Station.

We don't have the chance to go inside and taste their food. Our friend who lives in Holland brought us to another Asian restaurant and we did not regret going inside  because the food and the ambiance were  good. I can't exactly remember the name of that restaurant.

I read some  reviews online about Sea Palace. Others had bad experiences and some had  nice ones. I might try it in my next visit to this city.

Sort of Adventure

I saw some sort of adventure images of some friends in  facebook. Some were jumping on the air from a plane or helicopter. How do you say that? Parachuting or freefall ? Or maybe bungee jumping? I am quite interested with the latter but I guess I need to buy my own bungee cord. How about swimming with sharks or whales? lol!

During my latest visit to Neuschwanstein Castle in Schwangau the other week, I saw some people doing paragliding. This is some sort of adventure also. If I have the chance to do it, why not!

My life is also full of surprises and adventures especially when I travel alone and I always  love it! I hope to have more travels to come in the future before my knees get weak.

The Library of Celsus in Ephesus, Turkey

Travel photos and memories! These are all the things I always have after I travel. Last September 2011, we had the chance to visit Turkey for 10 days. We might not be able to see everything in this country but at least we visited some of its famous sights. One of it was Ephesus, Turkey.

It was a sunny hot afternoon as our tour guide toured us around this famous ruin if Ephesus. Thanks to our tour guide's information when he told us that Ephesus was once a Greek city. It became later a major Roman City.

Ephesus is located in Selcuk in the Izmir province of Turkey. It was one of the twelve cities of the Ionian League during the Classical Greek era.

One of the interesting ruins we saw there was the Library of Celsus. It was built in honor of the Roman Senator Tiberius Julius Celsus Polemaeanus. It was completed in 135 AD by Celsus’ son, Gaius Julius Aquila (consul, 110 AD).

Shopping For Travel Gadgets

I guess somebody is travelling again. The past two weeks seemed to be very busy for me. I met new friends who are friends of my friends. Isn't it complicated? I hope not. They are currently having a vacation in Europe. This is also the reason why I keep on travelling the past two weeks because I am their travel escort. I am quite familiar with some cities in Europe and I am  showing some  to them. I am happy travelling with them because  I always have fun. Besides I love it too. Our next destination next week will be Budapest, Hungary. It will be my second visit to this city.

Anyway, back to the main topic. Travelling can sometimes be very expensive. As a frequent traveller, I always need gadgets that I use everytime I travel. The latest one that I bought was a Leather Messenger Bag and a camera bag. I found some cheap ones when I was browsing online last month. Upon seeing it, I immediately ordered it.

Most of the times, travelling can be very easy and comfortable if you are using the right travel gadgets. I always use Cross Body Bags everytime I travel. With these kind of bags, my hands are always free and I can use it in taking pictures. I also find it safer compared to ordinary handbags.

There are still a lot of travel gadgets I need. I still have some good walking shoes but when I will see cheaper ones, I still want to buy a pair or two. I am also looking for Messenger Bags For Women. I want a bigger one where my DSLR camera fits. I am just waiting until the one I saw online will be on sale. Other travel gadgets that I need is a spare battery for my cameras.

I am very thankful that with the use of computer and internet, we can already shop at the comfort of our home. No need to spend gasoline and drive on the traffic. This also means, no more hassles and stress while driving.

I Love This Breathtaking View of Monaco

Over a year had passed since my visit to this beautiful place. It was another dream come true when I visited Monaco. I thought I can only see it in internet or in a travel book but I was really there. I might not able to experience everything in this city state but I believed I am lucky enough to be there.

The principality of Monaco or the city-state Monaco lies in between the Alps and the Mediterranean Sea, bounded by the French Riviera to the west and the Italian Riviera to the east.

This is the second smallest independent state in the world (after the Vatican) and is almost entirely urban.

View From Our Hotel in Layos, Spain

We spent three nights in a hotel in Layos, Spain during our trip last December 2011. It was so far a very memorable trip and I am missing all the time. From our hotel window, you can see a lot of olive trees. I guess thousands and thousands of it.

From Layos, we had some trips  going to Madrid and Toledo that time.

Live Music at the Volksfest

I always visit the  German-American
Volksfest in one of the U.S. bases in Bavaria. This year's celebration was another success, I believed. I guess everybody's favorite especially the adult ones were  the live bands playing inside the beer tents. Everyday different bands were  playing live music during that festival.

Their music instruments  are really good. If I have the money, I would also love to buy fender super champ xd for my friend who requested me years ago to buy that instrument. He has his own band back home in the Philippines. Sad to say, I just can't afford it for now.
