The Fountain in Cham

I love this simple but beautiful fountain in Cham, a district in Upper Palatinate, in Bavaria, Germany. I had been here once but we always pass this place by everytime we drive to Czech Republic.

Chinese Buffet

I am talking something delicious tonight. For sure, if you love food especially Chinese delicacies, you might be drooling when seeing this food. I took this image when we ate in one of the Chinese buffet restaurant in Frankfurt. There are more than ten recipes on the table excluding salads and desserts. You might want to take Brazilian diet pill after eating buffet here. I don't really tried a lot of recipes but only concentrated on shrimps, fish and rice. After having two plates of it and some vegetable salad, I was already very full. I was also surprised because the prices are not so expensive. I am thinking of coming back here in my next visit.

Worry vs Work

"The reason why worry kills
more people than work
is that more people worry than work."

~Robert Frost (1874-1963)~

TV Program

Another day is here again! I can't imagine that 5:00 PM now is already dark. Yesterday as I drove back home at around 4:30 PM from Neumarkt with a friend, the street and surroundings was so foggy. I drove slowly to make sure that we will arrive home safely. Thank goodness, we did!

That morning while getting ready to go to Neumarkt, I was watching a TV program where they interviewed some people with sickness and disabilities. Some are already receiving social security disability because it is already impossible for them to find a job due to being handicaps. I felt pity for those people who are like that. I mean with handicaps. I am very thankful that I am born healthy and without disabilities.

And the backlog is due to high demand or rather an increase in SSDI applications. No one pays us to get SSDI either – we are paid a fee for helping people through the process with the SSA.

It's Party Time

We did had a party again in a friend's house last Friday Oct. 29, 2010. It was Joy's advance birthday party and was held at Farah's home. It was another great time being with new friends. I believed everybody had fun during the party. The highlight of the party was the lunch time. It was a total blast celebrated until the evening.

Happy birthday Joy and wish you all the best. God bless you and your family!

Special thanks to Farah for the accommodation and to all good friends who brought with them some food and presents.

Pustules on my Chin

One, two, three and four, these are exactly the pustules that I saw last night on my chin. I guess, I am eating again too much oily foods the past days. This is the result when I eat fatty foods. Now, I am having acne on chin. I immediately applied some acne cream last night. This cream was prescribed by my dermatologists since 2004 when I had a worst attack of this skin problem. Until now, you can still see evidences left by those acne. I still have some scars left on my face. That is also the reason why I am still continuing the use of a cream that removes scars. Again, another prescribed cream from my dermatologists. I am thankful that the scars are slowly gone now. If you are having acne problems right now, don't hesitate to visit your skin doctor for proper medication.

I am finally bidding goodbye online. I have to go to sleep now. There are still chores and errands that I need to do early tomorrow. Have a lovely week to all!

Road Sign

This is a road sign in Belgium. We were on the motorway as I took this image last August 2010. Belgium is the only country in Europe where I see lights on their highways. I guess, it would be nice driving here during the night. We were on our way from Brussels to Amsterdam during this trip.
