Saintpaulia, African Violet for Halloween

We are just done with dinner eating my favorite Schweinebraten or roasted pork with a special home made sauce prepared by yours truly. Saintpaulia or African Violet is my TF entry for Halloween. I love these small but lovely flowers. This is one of my fave colours. Wishing everyone a good start of the month of November!
Saintpaulia, commonly known as African violet, is a genus of 6 species of herbaceous perennial flowering plants in the family Gesneriaceae, native to Tanzania and adjacent southeastern Kenya in eastern tropical Africa, with a concentration of species in the Nguru mountains of Tanzania. The genus is most closely related to Streptocarpus, with recent phylogenetic studies suggesting it has evolved directly from subgenus Streptocarpella. The common name was given due to a superficial resemblance to true violets (Viola, family Violaceae). wikipedia

The Beauty of Golden Autumn

Happy Halloween! I love this time of the year when the surroundings are colourful. The leaves on the trees are getting into yellow, orange, red, maroon, brown, golden and other fascinating colours of autumn time! Here is my Scenic Sunday entry for now. I hope to visit you guys. I am just having a computer problem as of this moment. My other netbook is not starting anymore. My old pc is also running very slow. I wish you all a wonderful week ahead!

Back-up for My Files

Good evening guys! October is almost ending. I hope that you had a great October month. I guess not for me because I am having some problems with my computer right now. It is just processing very very slow. I also noticed that it is getting loud now. I am afraid that one day, I will just open it and it won't work anymore. I need to have online backup for my files before it happen. This can be very scary if I lost my important files in my computer. Oh gosh! It took me around thirty minutes to write this very short entry. Normally I am done in three minutes but now almost half an hour. This is so annoying! Sorry guys! Just a reminder, don't forget to back-up your files before your computer crashes. I am starting it right now. Anyway, I just want to end up by saying that it took me 36 minutes to write this post.

Good Site for Firefighters

I remember visiting the trade show in Kelheim last month. There were a lot of businesses who participated and introduced their products to the public. The fire department also participated as you can see in the picture I have here. They also presented some equipments they use when fire fighting. I am just curious how much a fire and rescue equipment cost. I mean the gadgets and equipment use by firefighters. Thanks to this site called Comtrex who provide information about it. The site is very easy to navigate and it process very fast. The website is also professionally designed. I guess fire fighters and shoppers would love to visit site like this. I want to laugh if I see this picture! Imagine I met the hot girls in Las Vegas last year? I never see them in person when I was in the Philippines but I did in Vegas. We happened to go for eating in Chowking in Las Vegas and they were also there. what I did! I striked a pose with them. The question is, who's the hottest of 'em all! wink!

Good News and Bad News

I got both news today, bad and good. Where do you want me to start? I guess I begin with the bad one and very very sad one. Can you imagine if you lost one of your love ones? Can you imagine if you lost a member of your family? This will be the saddest news you can have. I even remember a very good friend who died last year due to cancer. Tears were even falling from my eyes as I heard the news from her sister. Anyway, as I went down to the kitchen this morning to take my tea time, HB already laid the newspaper where the obituaries are. My friend's father in law died. I immediately call her to extend my condolence and sympathy. I am also going tomorrow to attend the burial ceremony. That's the bad news my friends.

The good news is, my sister left a message in yahoo messenger telling me to take the best fat burner for me to lose weight before I go home for vacation this holiday season. I miss the yummy food back home. If I don't lose extra pounds now, I will be gaining more in my vacation. Not really a good idea for me. The best news is, our dear beloved youngest sister had already her visa to the US. She had an interview yesterday in the US Embassy in Manila. Now she is backed to Cebu and sent me that YM. God truly blesses her. I know that she deserved it. Good luck to her and best wishes to our family. Best wishes to everyone too!
