Home Improvements

HB was asking the past days me if somebody called from the hardware store. He is expecting for the delivery of the new windows that we ordered around three weeks ago. I told him that I don't received any calls except from callers who are trying to sell products through telephone. After the window project, the next one to be repaired is our bathroom toilet in the second floor. I would like to suggest to HB to try to have some ideas about American Standard toilets. We might let our house for rent to American soldiers or civilians who will be stationed in the US base near our place. That is also the time when we already decide to live in the Philippines in some years to come. There are still a lot of things to be repaired in our house. At least, we have a house that we call our own home. I am quite contented with it. Goodnight folks!

Pansies and Primula Flowers

What a lovely day today is! I hope you are having a wonderful weekend. We will be going today to the nearest town to see a trade show. Before we left, I would like to share these flowers to brighten your day. The primula or Primeln are is it called in German are quite old already. It's color is slowly vanishing and the flowers are slowly decaying. The second image which are pansies are almost the same. I took this picture as we visited HB's twin sister yesterday. I also have some of these flowers in our garden. Since these are the first ones I saw in my file, I ended up selecting it. Have a wonderful day to all!

Went Grocery Shopping Today

Hello folks! It seems that the sky outside is getting dark now. I guess rain is coming later. I am quite busy today. I am already starting for a general spring cleaning. The first one I finished was in the kitchen. After that I took my lunch and went grocery shopping. Hubby told me to buy him some working clothes. Sad to say, the right size for him are all gone. I ended up buying a porcelain doll which is 80 cm high for quite a cheaper price. I wish to take a picutre of it and show it here next time. I also bought a reading glasses for HB. I guess next time he need to buy cheap prescription glasses. He need to go first to his ophthalmologist for eye an check-up. I also spent some time working in our garden after I arrived from grocery shopping. It was quite a good day today even I am feeling a bit tired now. That's how busy I am all the time! How about you?

Water in Paradise Pier Park, Disneyland CA

Football game is over! and the winner is FC Bayern Muenchen! I can't stop watching the game played between Olympique Lyon and FC Bayern Munich. It was a very interesting fight. Let's go share this image I took in Paradise Pier in Disneyland, California last June 2008. I guess I don't want to say a lot of things anymore. Let this image below speak for itself. I am just quite tired today. It seems that I had a long day working in the house and in our garden plus updating some of my blogs...wink! I wish you a great evening.

It's a beautiful day!

I woke up this morning with sun rays coming inside our windows. The sun is shining great outside tempting me to work in the garden or probably go walking later. As I woke-up, I immediately make my daily routine which is having my tea ceremony while reading the newspaper and at the same time listening music over the radio. There are still a lot of chores waiting for me in the house. I decided to check first my mails as I opened my PC and probably later read about Lipofuze online. I wish I have more time to surf in the internet or maybe read books and magazines especially travel ones. Since today is a wonderful day, I am hoping that you are also having a great one especially to all friends from Europe! Take care folks. I will see you later again! Thanks God for this beautiful day!

Do I Look Healthier?

Another busy day I had today. I am still not done with my assignments at home. There are just a lot of things to do in the house now. Some rooms are still in chaos because of stuffs scattering around. After I cooked food for lunch today, I need to get ready to go for grocery shopping. As I bought something to a friend, she told me that it seems that I gained more kilos again. I guess she is right. I need to find the best colon cleanser that will help me lose those excess weight. It has been my dream to get back that 24 waist line I had seven years ago. I do really look bigger now. That is also the reason why I need more bigger clothes this summer. I will try my best to go on diet and go more walking in the next days. Good evening and I'll see you later again!

The Fountain in Manila Cathedral, Philippines

This fountain in front of Manila Cathedral has a bronze monument of Spain's Carlos IV which is said to be erected in 1824. This fountain is located in the formerly called Plaza mayor but since 1961, it is named Plaza de Roma honor the Sacred College of Cardinals in Rome following the elevation of the first Filipino cardinal, Rufino J. Santos.

This was taken during my vacation in the Philippines last January 2010.

Waste Recycling

One thing I just admire in Germany is the waste recycling they have. Plastics, Papers and cartoons, trash and bottles have its own container for segregation. Some of these waste are converted to renewable energy. That is also the reason why Germany is clean. It is one of the cleanest country I found to be very clean. Have you heard about N-Viro International Corporation? If not, you can visit their site at http://www.nviro.com to have an idea of what this company is engage of. One of things that N-Viro is doing is converting waste to alternative energy. They process and convert waste to energy. Below is a short information about the company. Feel free to also watch this video below.

"N-Viro International Corporation develops and licenses its technology to municipalities and private companies. Their patented processes use lime and/or mineral-rich, combustion byproducts to treat, pasteurize, immobilize and convert wastewater sludge and other bio-organic wastes into biomineral agricultural and soil-enrichment products with real market value. The company has generated sales in excess of $40 million dollars, since its initial public offering in October of 1993, which was underwritten by Robertson Stephens, Raymond James, Oppenheimer & Co., and Paine Webber."
