A Friend's Birthday Party

Yesterday was my friend's birthday celebration. It was a great one with tons of delicious food. Everybody was happy during the gathering. It's TGIF Again!

I am quite tired today. The reason?..not enough sleep! I should sleep longer but I have to wake-up early because I have to do a lot of household stuffs. Some good friends are coming and I haev to clean a bit..hehehe...There will be also a party tomorrow in a friend's birthday. Some friends are also coming. I guess, it will be a lot of fun! I just wish you all a happy TGIF! have fun in the weekend! take care guys! I have to slowly sign-off now, to get ready for some things.

I Need A New Shoes

How are you guys? How was your first day of the weekend! I got a busy one. That's the reason why I just have the time to sit-down now in front of my pc. I am a busy body anyway. I never have a dull moment even I just stay at home. It's party time again! A friend of mine will be celebrating her last birthday in Germany. She want the party to be memorable and enjoyable. I guess a lot of visitors are coming. I guess I also need a new shoes to partner with my clothes which I will wear during the party. I want to visit Dansko professional to go shopping for nice and elegant shoes. I hope I can find one that will comfortably fit my huge feet. Have an enjoyable and safe weekend to all!

Visiting the Doctors Again!

How's everyone out there? I hope you are all doing good! Last Thursday, my husband had a doctor's appointment due to his bad knee. The doctor said, it might be coming from the bike accident last August 2007. One doctor said that the knee must be operated immediately. The other doctor said that it is better to wait for some time. To ease the pain from his knee, he was given two injections already. That is the reason why we went back again yesterday for the second injection. All these pains that my husband suffered now started after that bike accident in 2007 happened. His ankle was broken and was also operated. We are just thankful that we have that so-called accident insurance and lawyer's insurance which we are paying every year. We were looking before for some motorcycle accident attorneys and we are glad that we found a good one. He is the one handling the case of my husband's bike accident because there was a second party who was the caused of his accident. He will have another doctor's appointment next week again for a, Orthopedic Specialist to have a second opinion. I hope that this will be settled soon! Enjoy the lovely day! It is very beautiful today in our place! take care guys!

Celebration of the Holy Thursday

Do you know what day today is? For Christians especially for Catholics today is the celebration of the Holy Thursday or the so-called Maundy Thursday. I could still remember our practices back home that during this day, we usually go to the Church to attend a Mass celebration for today. Sad to say, I haven't done it in Germany now. What is Maundy Thursday or Holy Thursday?

Maundy Thursday (also known as Holy Thursday or Great and Holy Thursday), is the Christian feast or holy day falling on the Thursday before Easter that commemorates the Last Supper of Jesus Christ with the Apostles. It is the fifth day of Holy Week, and is preceded by Holy Wednesday and followed by Good Friday. In 2009, Maundy Thursday will occur on April 9 for Western Christian traditions including Roman Catholicism and on April 16th for Eastern Christian traditions including most Orthodox Churches.

On this day four events are commemorated: the washing of the Disciples' Feet by Jesus Christ, the institution of the Mystery of the Holy Eucharist at the Last Supper, the agony of Christ in the Garden of Gethsemane, and the betrayal of Christ by Judas Iscariot. read more here

Monday to Wednesday

The days between Palm Sunday and Maundy Thursday are known as Holy Monday (or Fig Monday), Holy Tuesday and Holy Wednesday (sometimes called Spy Wednesday). The Gospels of these days recount events not all of which occurred on the corresponding days between Jesus' entry into Jerusalem and his Last Supper. For instance, the Monday Gospel tells of the Anointing of Bethany (John 12:1-9), which occurred before the Palm Sunday event described in John 12:12-19.

The Chrism Mass, whose texts the Roman Missal now gives under Holy Thursday, may be brought forward to one of these days, to facilitate participation by as many as possible of the clergy of the diocese together with the bishop. This Mass was not included in editions of the Roman Missal before the time of Pope Pius XII. In this Mass the bishop blesses separate oils for the sick (used in Anointing of the Sick) for catechumens (used in Baptism) and chrism (used in Baptism, but especially in Confirmation and Holy Orders, as well as in rites such as the blessing of an altar and a church). please read more here

Spring time is finally here! Today was a very nice sunny weather. It was a perfect time to go out again and visit some friends! One friend I visited prepared some food which I love. Those Filipino food are lumpia spring roll and adobo. I ate a lot again. Winter is over and I guess, it is a time for me to go out again and do some exercise to lose some fat or weight? I know that I gained some kilos again especially that I don't have the appetite to go walking in the cold winter time. I guess one solution to eradicate excess weight is to take a diet pill. Agree with me guys? I hope so but we have to find the right one which is really effective and don't have side effects. have a great evening to all! It is time for me to slowly sign-off!
