No More MC Donald's-Very Bad Experience

I just want to share this very bad experience we had in MC Donalds last night here in Las Vegas. well to be specific that was past midnight, around dawn today already. I know that MC Donalds is a very reputable and trustful company around the world. You can find it everywhere. I know that it is a very good company.

This experience we had last night or this dawn time with my sister and bro-in-law was just very disappointing. I supposed and would like to say "NEVER AGAIN AT MC DONALDS". I also know how employees in mc donalds are trained to provide excellent and fast service to customers. But last night, I would say, it is a nightmare experience with mc donalds. really very disappointing and frustrating experience.

Well, I am just sharing this experience to burst-out and pour-out my feelings. I was just very disappointed and also my younger sister and brother in law. I believed sharing personal experiences is not bad especially if you are telling "THE TRUTH AND NOTHING BUT THE TRUTH"

Last night, our car broke down and stopped somewhere in Lake Mead at Las Vegas Boulevard, near a gas station in front of terribles in mc donalds. They also have their the 24hour drive thru service.

I was very hungry while we were waiting for the assistance of my bro-in-laws friend to drive us home. At the same time, the service company who will tow the broke-down car. We decided to go to the 24 hour drive-thru Mc Donald to buy some food because we were really very hungry. Besides it is only some feet away.

While standing at the customer window, me and my sister said that we want some double cheese burgers. The lady said that she cannot sell us some burgers or anything because we don't have a car. I told the lady that our car broke down and it is not running anymore. I even told her that she can take a look at the car in front of Terrible Mc Donalds.

She said that she can't really sell us some burgers. She called her supervisor, I guess and the supervisor said the same.

Due to frustation and dissapointment, my hunger disappeared. The bad thing is that I am still having Migraine until right now which I believe to be the cause of the hunger, disappointment and frustration we had last night of this dawn time.

It was already around 2am as we arrived home this morning after a friend took us home.

MY POINTS ARE:

1. Where is the so called customer service at Mc Donald which is famous around the world for its excellent and fast service to their customers.
2. Is there a law or policy in MC Donald saying that you can't buy anything if you don't have a car in their drive thru service. In fact, we have a car which was broken down and just some feet away from the drive thru.
3. I am just really pouring out how I felt until now because I am just very disappointed and frustrated which I believed to be the cause of my Migraine until now while I am writing this post.
4. My very point is that, I hope that MC Donalds needs to train more their employees what really customer service is.

I will still continue this post soon because until now, I am already vomitting due to my bad Migraine..

see you soon!!

Hi! I really read this post intently..every word of it. I used to work at McDo when I was sixteen backin Pinas... I understand your frustration but I can say that they have policies. and as I read that even the supervisor's contention was "no" to a "no-car" customer, i presume that it is written in the policy of the company.

It fairness to them, I learned that they are really strict with the rules. Thus, the rules, as I have learned from your experience, might be containing some provisions that the drive thru is only for cars driving thru.....

In my experience as a crew before, we were trained be with all the rules... and you are right, "customer service" should be the first concern and it is. As a worker there in McDo, they are required to strictly abide with the company's policies like not getting late. A minute of late is no different to a whole day late... well from experience..they are really strict about that.

As for not selling you food, i think in the cash register there are some fields required to sell in drive thru counter...such as plate number or something... just a hint i got from my experience and from your experience as well...

Anyway, don't worry. Better not to eat there anymore because of not-so-healthy food.. Heheheh... Interesting post. Really....! Ang haba naman ng comment ko!

hey 123 ,thanks for leaving a comment here..well i just want my burgers..all i can say that there is always exception to the rules esp. during emergency like what had happened to us.

hope i can still do some research about mc donalds..just don't have time...

i had been working too in a very strict financial company before but when it comes to emergency sometimes you have to break it, but of course with approval from supervisor, manager or even higher authority...

hope to continue this post next time after my research or will even brought this to MC Donalds attention to really see their opinions about this situation which I really think is some sort of emergency when you are stocked in the middle of nowhere....

thanks for dropping by..

Well Im not surprised to read how frustrated you were with that experience. I don't expect them to care because in the first place, they are selling unhealthy products, just like the rest of the fast food chains.

I agree with bravespirit. Also dear, another point is, theose are service crews and I am aware that even the supervisor, not all the time has that level of education like us in Ph. I am on the same profession as you and though I am not sure, it is a possibility that we worked on the same firm....well...that one along 8760 Ayala ave?... And that case, it's big money involved and politics is also inherent in our profession or in things around the financial world..

Your experience however, involves "no great benefit" for them.. What a simple employee or that certain crew know about the "value of a customer", the power that a discontented customer can do, the word of mouth or the power of blogging?

Anyway, yes, i want to see the results of your study din on drive thrus... Anyway, i don't eat fastfood, any of them, kaya lang all my relatives back in Pinas do...hehehe... Im gonna watch out your follow up post. Sana mainform mo ako if nandon na or if you reply to this... Just give me a buzz.. I love healthy discussions.....

Oooopss.. my link here is not up yet i guess. i cant seem to find.
