Good evening guys! It seems that I was not able to give you some updates on this blog for some time now. I am quite busy with a lot of things. Besides that Christmas is almost here, there are also a lot of things to do in the house. Another problem, there is no internet connection in my Mother's province. I am at the internet cafe writing this update.

Planning to Buy Some Gadgets

I love electronic and gadgets. I love cameras and computers. I just ordered a lens camera this week and still waiting for it to be delivered. I just talked to dear sister in Las Vegas to also buy me a new laptop on Thanksgiving day next week. My friend said that there are a lot of sale items during Thanksgiving celebration in the US. I was even window shopping for flat screen tvs last week. We will see if we can buy a new tv early next year. For now, I just need more finances for my long vacation back home. I am almost flying home. Second, I might be flying to the United States again next year after my vacation back home. Can't Wait to Go Home

Good afternoon everyone! How was your weekend? Thanks God, I had a great one. I hope you too. I am starting to count the days until I will fly for vacation next week. I am quite excited to see my family, relatives and friends once again. I am also imagining now of the sunny weather and the blue sky and sea back home. I am evading the cold winter in Europe. I am thinking if we need air filters for the air condition in my room. Sometimes, it can be very hot in the Philippines especially in the summer time. I hope it is not so hot next month and the first months of 2010. I just can't wait to go home to spend Christmas, New Year and the Sinulog festival in Cebu. I am quite optimistic of my long vacation there. More updates in my other blog sites.

Visit to Rothenburg ob der Tauber in Bavaria, Germany

This is a special post for a blogger friend named James from the US. He was asking for some photos from Rothenburg ob der Tauber in Bavaria, Germany. I wish to share more photos but I am running of my bandwidth in uploading photos. I might end up paying for it next year when the allocated bytes for uploading photos is full. The picture here is the Town Hall of Rothenburg. I guess it don't look like Manhattan hotels as what I have seen in a travel catalog this morning. Others might be thinking this is a hotel but its not. We visited this historical medieval town last January 2008 as you can see the embedded date in the picture. Back-up for My Files

Good evening guys! October is almost ending. I hope that you had a great October month. I guess not for me because I am having some problems with my computer right now. It is just processing very very slow. I also noticed that it is getting loud now. I am afraid that one day, I will just open it and it won't work anymore. I need to have online backup for my files before it happen. This can be very scary if I lost my important files in my computer. Oh gosh! It took me around thirty minutes to write this very short entry. Normally I am done in three minutes but now almost half an hour. This is so annoying! Sorry guys! Just a reminder, don't forget to back-up your files before your computer crashes. I am starting it right now. Anyway, I just want to end up by saying that it took me 36 minutes to write this post.

Good News and Bad News

I got both news today, bad and good. Where do you want me to start? I guess I begin with the bad one and very very sad one. Can you imagine if you lost one of your love ones? Can you imagine if you lost a member of your family? This will be the saddest news you can have. I even remember a very good friend who died last year due to cancer. Tears were even falling from my eyes as I heard the news from her sister. Anyway, as I went down to the kitchen this morning to take my tea time, HB already laid the newspaper where the obituaries are. My friend's father in law died. I immediately call her to extend my condolence and sympathy. I am also going tomorrow to attend the burial ceremony. That's the bad news my friends.

The good news is, my sister left a message in yahoo messenger telling me to take the best fat burner for me to lose weight before I go home for vacation this holiday season. I miss the yummy food back home. If I don't lose extra pounds now, I will be gaining more in my vacation. Not really a good idea for me. The best news is, our dear beloved youngest sister had already her visa to the US. She had an interview yesterday in the US Embassy in Manila. Now she is backed to Cebu and sent me that YM. God truly blesses her. I know that she deserved it. Good luck to her and best wishes to our family. Best wishes to everyone too!

Investing at Young Age is A Good Act

Investment can be in any form. It might be a house and lot that you buy. It can be a form of savings deposit in the bank, a security bond, investment bond, time deposits or can be a form of a life insurance. Would you believe that I also made some human investments. I helped my sisters go to school and to take degrees or studies. I am happy now that they are already done in college and I am proud of them. Isn't it a very good human investment? HB also made some investments. Hopefully next year, he can already have the return of premium life insurance which he have been paying for almost three decades now. We are hoping to have a better financial freedom in the coming year. I am also happy to have little investments back home. It is better than nothing. So young people out there, you better invest wisely while your young. The younger you are, the better for your future.

Not A So Good News Back Home

I guess life is like that. It is like a wheel sometimes we are up and sometimes we are down. We are up because those were the times when we are happy and it seems that there are no problems on our way. We are down because we feel the world over our shoulders. This is also true when a family member is sick or any problem comes and it seems that we cannot find a solution to it. Sometimes I just want to remember the song, "Don't Worry, Be Happy".

I just felt very sad last time after knowing the result of the different medical tests of my father. There are some negative results especially the decrease of his red blood cells and the fibrotic changes in his lungs. I even have here the message from my sister which was sent to my mail last Oct. 12, 2009. Since we Filipinos always love our families, all we can do is to help when we can. I will try to translate next time this message below in English. For now, I want to wish you all good health always and stay safe all the time. I also need to search for good copper sinks later. Got Back Something

Good evening guys! I am still quite tired today until now. I woke-up so early this morning to take care of some very important things. Thanks God, that it was partially resolved. I also went to the bank and found out that the insurance company already returned back the money for my sister's travel insurance which we paid last August. I also asked some information for life insurance quotes which HB is trying to find out. My sister's visa to Germany was denied which is also the reason why we also asked for the refund of the travel insurance. We are happy that we got back our money. More updates next time. Good morning everyone! I promise this will be my last post for tonight because my keyboard is working weird again. I have to restart my pc to have it functioning back to normal. I also do not want to restart it because I am slowly going to bed now. I hear some nice music from HB already. Besides that we will wake up later earlier to take care of very important things. Plan of Going Back to School

Good morning everyone! I don't know how many times I did mentioned that I want to go back to school again. It is only a plan but I will be happy if it will be materialized. I guess education knows no age limit. I still don't know what field I will be studying. I am interested in taking IT course or maybe in Medical and health field. Lucky for those who took courses in IT field because it is one of the most sought job nowadays. I believed if you are getting a masters information security, it will also help you advance your career. This is quite a very interesting subject of study because you will be able to gain technological and managerial knowledge on how to protect your businesses or any government agencies about IT risks and threats.

How I wish I can attend Lewis University Online. I also have to check if I am qualified. I will see after my vacation back home this year. I might already decide which course of study I will be taking again. Sad to say my bachelor's degree and work experience at home is not recognized to the country where I live now. That is also one reason why I plan of going back to school. That's all for now. take care guys!

Oktoberfest 2009 Updates

It seems that this blog was abandoned for some days! Sorry about that guys. The Author is always busy both offline and online plus the escapades that we always have. I also apologize if you always see in my blogs updates and photos about Oktoberfest. We were finally there yesterday. The day before was like a Black Friday for me because I did not had a good sleep. Or maybe because I was quite excited with our trip to Munich for the Oktoberfest. We arrived home safe early this morning at around 2:00 am. We both had a nice and not so good experience during our trip but over all I would say that it was wonderful! I wish to share more about it in a couple of days. Starting Over Again

I went shopping today. Me and a friend drove to Donaueinkaufszentrum, a mall in Regensburg. We should normally go out yesterday but due to some reasons, I just can't besides that I am also very busy. On the way to Regensburg, we have been talking about health matters. I also told her that I am always starting over again and again with my diet plan. We also talked about health matters like colon cleanse, back pains, headache, menstruation and a lot more. Until we did not noticed that we are almost in Regensburg. We did not find a lot of sale in the mall. I guess the summer sale is over and we are already too late. I am still trying to buy clothing for my balikbayan boxes. I will buy tomorrow what important things that I need more and hopefully on Friday I can already start packing my Balikbayan boxes. I guess 3 to 4 are enough. I will see how many I need. My Sister's Travel Insurance was Cancelled

We wrote a letter last month to the company where we ordered a travel insurance for my sister who want to visit Europe. We cancelled it because the tourist visa application of my sister to Germany was denied by the German Embassy in Manila. I will tell you the whole story in my Travel and Explore Germany site. We all know the importance of medical travel because we don't know what will happen during our trip. I always do the same. Every time I go for vacation, I always see to it that I have a travel insurance to protect me in times of emergency. I would suggest that you better get one before you travel. I Finally Booked My Ticket For Home Vacation

It's been almost three years that I did not go home to the Philippines. Last Monday, I finally booked my ticket and I am quite excited about it. This time is quite a long vacation. I can't imagine going home for almost three months. I guess this will be a lot of fun. I am planning to do a lot of things in our house like more improvements. I am also planning to make a another kitchen made of glass tile. I can see if I can make another terrace facing to the sea. I am also planning to make a garden with landscape and plant a lot of flowers. I also need to do some fencing in front of the house. I hope I can have the chance for sightseeing around the islands in Philippines. In God's will, I will be flying on the last week of November this year! Wish me a safe and sound trip!
I miss this place called Home! There is no other place who can replace this thing called Home! I guess I'm quite confusing but I am just happy right now! wink!

Still Trying to Wash Away Some Weight

I am back! I just forget to mention that I am thankful for this very wonderful weekend. I hope that you also had a great one. For my aim to wash away some excess weight, we went walking this afternoon for almost two hours. Yesterday was even a lot of walking as we had a weekend sightseeing in Bayreuth. If I can do a lot of walking everyday, I guess I don't need to take weight loss pills. I read some reviews on the net that there are weight loss pills that are effective. I will see if I can find the most effective one that causes no side effects. It's time to bid goodnight. I hope to give you more updates tomorrow! take care too!

Footwear Shopping

August is almost ending. It also means that summer is almost ending in Europe. The Ber months are also almost here. I can't wait to go for vacation to my home country and see my family, relatives and friends once again. I am also looking for more sandals which I can use during the warm weather in the Philippines. I also love the Naot shoes and sandals which I just saw online. I believed these sandals are durable ones because it is made of leather. There is a very nice style that I like most, the Naot Carmen Brass/Platinum leather. I will see if my sister in the United States can buy some for me since she will also go home for vacation. Got a Great Weekend!

Weekend is almost ending. I am thankful that we had a great one! I am hoping you too. We don't go anywhere today but yesterday we had a whole day trip as what I had previously mentioned. I can also say that I am happy and quite contented with my life now. All the basic needs are met. We have a dwelling place to stay. I drive my own car and just paid the car insurance last month. I have a loving, understanding and supportive husband. We just live a simple but happy life. What else can I ask for? I am thankful to God for all the blessings and graces we always receive. God is truly great! I always pray that we will be given good health always including my family and friends! I'll see you later again. It's time to take a shower. Weekend Escapades in Straubing, Germany

Good evening to all! I am still quite tired right now and my feet hurts because we had been walking the whole day in Straubing. It is a city in Bavaria, Germany which is around 100 km drive from our place. We don't go there to find for classroom furniture but we saw a lot of garden furniture at the Ostbayernschau which is still going on at Straubing.

There you can see a lot of different products from machines to house furniture, motorcycles, bathroom accessories, garden equipments and a lot more. The main thing why we drove there is to witness the second biggest festival in Bavaria which is the Gaeubodenfest. I will share more information especially in my Travel and Explore site. Time To Go Shopping!

It's Thursday now! I can't wait till the weekend comes because we will be going somewhere again for a short sightseeing trip. I just pray that we will be perfectly fit and healthy this weekend. I should be going for grocery shopping yesterday but due to some circumstances, I was not able to go. This morning during my tea time, I saw some very nice wall candle sconces in the advertisement. I am not so sure if I will be buying one for decoration. I already got some but I still not did not hang it. Just now, I also found very beautifully designed wall candle sconces online. I love this stuffs and all candle holders. I even have some porcelain and crystal candle holders. It's time for me to get ready for grocery shopping! I wish everyone a great day too!
