New Year 2014 Inspiration!

Some more hours and 2014 is about to come. This means that we have to slowly say goodbye to 2013. I would say 2013 is a wonderful year for me and I hope for you too. Let's face  2014 with hope, love, peace to all mankind and harmony!

HAVE A HAPPY, BLISSFUL AND WONDERFUL NEW YEAR  2014 TO ALL!
CHEERS AND GO BLESS US ALL!

I also would to share this very inspiring words I received from my inbox. Thanks to Kyregma for sharing it.

"In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. – John 1:1

The celebration of New Year’s Eve is filled with tradition. People wear polkadots, serve 12 kinds of round fruits on their tables and light firecrackers to usher in prosperity and drive evil spirits away. The traditions have a more commendable side to it— it makes the evening colorful, it brings families together in emotional reunions and many other good things.

May I suggest an additional good thing to add to our traditions? May I propose that we dedicate the first hour of the year to worship and prophecy?

At the stroke of midnight, my household would worship and raise our voices to honor God in an attempt to drown the “noise” of the world. Instead of driving away spirits, we invite the Holy Spirit to join us in thanking God. Then we open our Bibles and receive a verse as a guide for the New Year, even as we consult Scripture again and again throughout the year.

This additional tradition has brought me closer to God’s Word and has taught me to be guided by it. It makes my every day a New Year’s Day — a celebration of the Word! Rolly EspaƱa."

The Use and Art of Chandelier

The idea of the chandelier has shifted over time. A mention of this kind of lighting used to bring to mind the bright light fixture sparkling with ornate crystals hanging over a dinner table, ball room or main building entrance. One could not recall images of a chandelier without thinking of wealth, abundance or lavish lifestyles.

Not Really a Surprised Christmas Present

I should wake-up early this morning but since I was so tired for the recent trips I did the past days, I was not able to wake-up early. I also attended a Christmas party last night and I was totally knocked down when I got home. Travelling is not easy and I guess, it is not for everyone. I am glad that I have a passion for this hobby and when given the chance and money to do it again, I will surely grab the opportunity.

Let me go back to the main topic here. After taking our breakfast this morning, I immediately got myself ready to go grocery shopping. Before that, we went first to an electronic shop to buy something. Good Santa heard my prayers and wish this holiday season. He finally bought me a new laptop. If I am a musician, I would probably order an ultrasound amps at Musicians Friend. This site is perfect for those who want to buy musical instruments. I have a great love about music but sad to say, I cannot really play a musical gadget.

After visiting the electronic shop, we proceeded to a grocery store nearby to shop all the items we need for Christmas Eve celebration. This time  will be a simple but wonderful  celebration of Christmas.  I am thankful  for  all the  blessings big and small for this year 2013.

Merry Christmas everyone!

The Making of Our Retirement Home

I believed we are already secured when we will retire in the future. We already built our retirement home along the beach. We are happy that when we laid the foundation last 2004 and slowly take the time to build  it. I guess, it is 99% finish now. I say 99% because there are still a lot of little things that needs to be done. We are  happy because it is a debt-free home. The little money we loaned from the bank was already fully paid  last 2010. I can't imagine when we build  our home this time,  because all of the materials for building now are  doubled or even tripled the price already. It was indeed a good plan and decision building  our retirement home 9 years ago.

missing home much.
Building your own home requires a lot of planning and money. You also need professionals who will do the job like engineers, electrician, plumber and other experts who can do the job in helping you during the process. You also need to choose the right place and location which is safe for building your home. There are construction companies like waterproofing ottawa who can help you with the laying of your home foundation. If you live in Ottawa, you are welcome to ask for their professional advice with regards to home building and repairs.

A house which is laid in good foundation simply means a durable home. If the foundation is not good,  time will come that you need to do a lot of repairs in the future and this will surely costs a lot of money. If ever you need services like this, you can always contact ottawa foundation repair  and they can surely provide you with your home repair needs.

I am so happy that our soon to-be retirement home was built at the right time and in the right place. It is located in a warm country where we cannot experience cold winter season like in Canada or Europe. When the right time comes, we will surely go back to the country which I always consider my home.

The Advantage of Booking A Cruise Trip

When most people go on holiday, they buy a plane ticket to their destination, fly there, and stay at that stop for the duration of the trip. They may travel around a bit, but the cost of getting there is usually so high that they decide to stay to save money. Even if they love that location, it is the only one that they get to see. For example, they could take a flight to Punta Cana, stay in a resort, and spend each day walking along the white sand beaches or swimming in the warm, blue-green water.

A cruise, on the other hand, is far different. You are essentially going to many different locations, all at the same time. You will board the ship at a port city, so that is the first place that you get to see. Many people will even fly to the port a few days early so that their trip can include an extended time there. After the boat leaves the port, you have a day or two at sea. This can be very entertaining if you have never been on the ocean before, or at least not that far out. After traveling, you get to your first stop.

However, you are certainly not going to stay there like those who flew in. You will probably just go on a day trip. A smaller craft will take you from the cruise ship to the shore, and you can then spend a few hours there, looking around, shopping, and having a good time. You may even stay for a meal. Then you get back on the ship and it continues to your next destination. There is more entertainment on the ship - games, performances, drinks, and much else. This process repeats itself at a few different places and then the ship returns to the original port and you disembark for good.

The upside of traveling with a cruise line like Royal Holiday is that you get to see and do a lot more for your money. Rather than paying for a single trip to get you to your destination, you are paying for a continuous voyage. You are paying for transportation every single day. The downside is that this is slower than flying, but you have to think of it like your accommodations and your transportation all rolled into one. When you look at it that way, it makes more sense. Much of the traveling will happen while you are asleep, and then you get to spend your days in exciting new locations. This is just as fast - if not faster - as flying every day, and it comes with a much smaller price tag.

As you plan your next vacation, you should look at both options and decide which one is best for you. Some people do not want the excitement of moving around; they just want to go to one place and stay there until they go home, and that's fine. Most people, though, have more places on their list of places to see than they can possibly get to in the near future, so they are looking for ways to see more and do more with each trip. That is what a cruise can offer, so it may be the best choice.

Getting to Know a Brass Instrument

Anyone who loves to play any musical instruments out there? I wish I am a musician who can play such instruments like brass, guitar, piano, organ, etcetera,  but I am not. I had witnessed a lot o festivals and events in Europe and had seem many musicians who played various musical instruments.

I am always amazed seeing people who especially play brass instruments. For some reasons, it always wows me when I see one playing it. If I am not mistaken, I witnessed musicians who played the best used brass instruments in many festivals in Bavaria, Germany especially in their so-called Volksfest, translated as "People's festival" in English. This usually happens in summer.

According to my bestfriend wikipedia, " brass instrument is a musical instrument that produces sound by sympathetic vibration of air in a tubular resonator in sympathy with the vibration of the player's lips. Brass instruments are also called labrosones, literally meaning "lip-vibrated instruments".
