Bathroom Renovation

This is one project that we need to do in our old house. We really need to renovate our bathroom. This should be done last year but we had another priority. We installed first new energy-saving-windows than renovating our bathroom. I find glass tiles a good materials if ever we will do the renovation. There are just other priorities to do this year and I hope that we can do it little by little. I also love the bathroom I saw in Hilton during my vacation in my home country. I might let hubby see the images I took from this hotel to have some bathroom ideas.

The Sunset and the Quote

"It was love that heard my pleadings
When I cried out in my sin;
It was love that gave me comfort;
It was love that took me in."

-Bonney

I miss this sunset in Cebu, Philippines.
This was taken near our house located near the beach. I love this place.

Shopping in Nuremberg

Happy weekend everyone! The second weekend of January 2011 is here now. I hope you are having a wonderful one. We did some window shopping of cars today in the nearby town. Hubby is planning to buy a new one. We also went to the supermarket because I bought two SD cards with 8 Gb that are on sale. I was also looking for cheap ipods but it is still not on sale.

Anyway, let's proceed about shopping in Nuremberg. I can't exactly remember how many times did I visited this city. Sometimes I go there with friends for window shopping. When I see stuffs that are on sale like clothes and shoes
I ended up buying some. Sometimes we just visit it for a day sightseeing.

This city in the state of Bavaria, Germany has a lot to offer to its guests and visitors. You can visit Nuremberg if you happen to visit Bavaria, Germany.

The Tulips and the Nice Quote

So lift up your heart to the heavens;
There's a loving and kind Father there
Who offers release and comfort and peace
In the silent communion of prayer.
-Anon.

I wish it's tulip time now. Happy weekend everyone! Keep warm especially to all friends in winter wonderlands.

These were the tulips in our garden last spring 2010.

London Eye Experience

Memories are forever! Do you believe in these words guys? As long as my mind is still working good, I believed I can always remember experiences and happenings that took place in my life. This is true especially good memories like travelling in interesting cities in Europe.
Visiting London without riding the famous London Eye is quite boring. That is the reason why I tried my best to experience it even I am alone. Anyway, a short topic about rack mount computer might be featured in my WWW site in the future.

I can still remember, it was a rainy afternoon when I rode alone in London Eye. My friends from this city had to go to work that time. From there, you can see a good view of London. Sights like the Parliament, Millenium Bridge, Big Ben are visible from above. I wish to visit this city in the future again...in God's will!

This image was taken during my trip in London last 2008.

Sightseeing in Strasbourg, France

When I visited Brussels, Belgium, one of the seat of European Union Parliament, I was at the same time thinking to visit Strasbourg in France. I am happy that it did came true. We had a trip there last December 2010 to see and experience especially their famous Christmas market.

Straßburg or Strassburg (in German), called in English as Strasbourg is the capital and principal city of the Alsace region in north-eastern France. I found this historical city very charming and interesting. It is located near the border of Germany.

view of the historical Strasbourg Cathedral

Strasbourg is situated on the Ill River, where it flows into the Rhine on the border with Germany, across from the German town Kehl.

Strasbourg's historic city centre, the Grande Île ("Grand Island"), was classified a World Heritage site by UNESCO in 1988, the first time such an honor was placed on an entire city centre. Strasbourg is fused into the Franco-German culture and although violently disputed throughout history, has been a bridge of unity between France and Germany for centuries, especially through the University of Strasbourg, currently the largest in France, and the co-existence of Catholic and Protestant culture.

Things To Consider When Buying Furniture

Sometimes, it is quite difficult to decide when buying a furniture. Whether we are planning to buy a house or office or garden furniture, we have to consider some things when selecting one. Here are some of the things we need to take into account when buying it.

BUDGET

I believed this is the first thing we need to consider when buying a furniture. Last December 2010, I bought a new office chair and a new computer table. It has been a long time since I am planning to replace my old ones. I was not able to buy it immediately because I am considering my budget. I am very lucky to see some items that are on sale. Imagine saving around 65% from the total cost? That is quite a big amount for me. Watch out folks what are on sale.

SPACE

Whether you are buying a new kitchen set, a living room set, a garden or office furniture, you will always have to consider the space where you are placing the said furniture. I cannot buy a huge living room set if my living room is very small. I will not waste my time and money buying furniture that does not suit in the space of my house. Agree with me guys?

CONSULTING THE EXPERTS

Sometimes, we don't really have an nice idea on what are the right furniture that fits for us and in our house or office. That is not a problem now. In most furniture stores nowadays, there are professionals or experts who offer consultancy services when buying furniture. Good to know, their services are always for free based on my experience. They can provide you ideas on what are the right furniture that best fit for your budget and style. Whether it is a small or big project, they are always their to meet your needs and requirements.
