64-YEARS OLD GAVE BIRTH TO A BABY!!!

I was a bit shocked this morning as I read the story in a German Newspaper about a 64 years old woman who gave birth to a baby. I usually take a look on our subscribed newspaper named Neumarkter Tagblatt. Let me tell you first these two German words Neumarkter and Tagblatt..Neumarkter refers to a small city here in Germany called Neumarkt, where this Newspaper is being published. Tagblatt came from the words Tag and Blatt....Tag, a German word which means in English "Day" and Blatt means "Leaf" in English. I tried to look for the exact meaning of Tagblatt in the German dictionary, but I wasn't able to find this word. Instead you can find the word "Tageblatt" which means in German "Zeitung" . Zeitung means in English Newspaper. Therefore, Tagblatt means daily news or simply just "Newspaper".

Now, let me continue about this woman in Aschaffenburg, a place in Bavaria (Bayern) who brought a baby to the world last Thursday, Nov. 29, 2007 at the age of 64. This is really amazing. I almost can't believed it. This woman has never had a child because of always having a lot of miscarriages in the past early years of her life. She had a "Kaiserschnitt" which means Caesarean operation during her birth. She went to another country to perform this so called "sperm injection" just to bear a baby.

I am happy at the same time sad at this news in relation to my own situation. Sad because until now I still don't have a baby. I am happy because that means that with my age now, I can still have a baby in the future. Only God knows. What is important is that I am happy with my supportive, kind, understanding and ever-loving husband. I know I am still blessed.

So for those who still don't have a baby and still hoping to have one...All I can say, "WE MUST NOT LOST OUR HOPE" but instead "KEEP ON HOPING AND PRAYING"...This my sharing for today. I hope you got a little bit insights of what is happening in this world!!......Keep in touch!!!...

Great Sunday...

Today is a relaxing Sunday. I went walking with my husband around our small place in Hohenfels. The weather was not so bad. The sky was cloudy and it is so windy outside. I was expecting a heavy rain, but thanks God no rain is coming. I really enjoy my whole afternoon with my husband. We were even kidding each other during the walk. And of course, I always have my weapon with me, my pocket camera.. I always have it wherever I go, even just to go shopping, visit a friend, during parties and celebrations and most of all when seeing new places. I am sharing some pictures of our place and its surroundings. I hope that everyone enjoy their Sunday too!!! Wish all of you a nice week ahead!!....(please see Hohenfels photos at the bottom)

I just want to share a few suggestions, observations and reminders on how to live a happy and rewarding life....Here they are!!!..Enjoy..

** Never laugh at any one's dream.
** Love deeply and passionately. You might get hurt, but it's the only way to live life completely.
** Have a professional photo of yourself made. Update it every three years.
** Never miss an opportunity to have someone rub your back..
** Never be the first to break a family tradition..
** Keep a diary of your accomplishments at work. Then when you ask for a raise, you'll have the information you need to back it up..
** Never sign contract with blank spaces.
** In disagreements, fight fairly. No name calling.
** Don't judge people by their relatives.
** Eat a piece of chocolate to cure bad breath from onions or garlic.
** Seize every opportunity for additional training in your job.
** When travelling, leave the valuable/good jewelries at home.
** Put your address inside your luggage as well as on the outside.
** Never give your credit card number over the phone if you didn't place the call.
** Remember that everyone you meet is afraid of something, loves something, and has lost something.
** Talk slow but think quick.

So, I guess that's all for today..Hope you get some thoughts and ideas from these..See you tomorrow again for more "little instruction"..

Good Morning December!!Guten Morgen Bayern!!!

Good morning everyone!! Today is the first day of December and it's Christmas season again. Anyway Christmas can also be everyday. It's just depends on how you take a look at it. How I wish I am in the Philippines to celebrate Christmas, but I am here in the cold and snowy place, Germany.

I woke up late today. Took my breakfast which is usually a cup of tea and sandwich toast with butter and my favorite kind of Himbeere marmelade. Wait a moment!! Sometimes I have to look at my translator Deutsch-Englisch (German-English) and vice versa to look for some German words in English translation. Since I already learned German language, sometimes I already forgot the equivalent in English. Or maybe I am already getting old???.. Ok.. I got it now!! Himbeere in English is raspberry.

Every time I wake up in the morning, I usually open my window and take a look at the weather outside. Well, today is a very typical winter weather here in Bayern or Bavaria. It is gray, wet and foggy outside.Drops of rain are falling outside as the weather forecast this weekend is rainy and snowy in some areas of Bavaria, with a temperature of 2 degrees C during the day and -4 degrees in the night.

I just wish that this month will be a joyous and memorable one for everyone, to my family and friends and most especially to all birthday celebrants. Let me wish you in advance!!!....MERRY CHRISTMAS AND A MORE BOUNTIFUL AND HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!!
