Buying Tulips Online

I want to share some images of tulips but it seems that uploading images in blogger is not available right now. Anyway, I just read an info about it but I thought it will be tomorrow at 5:00PM PDT. Back to main topic, I still have some tulip bulbs left for planting. I hope to finish it before the ground will get frozen. Hopefully before weekend, I can do it already. A friend ask me for some tulip bulbs but I told her that I will give her some next year before spring time comes. I haven't experience buying tulips online but today I saw a flower shop where you can order flowers of all kinds including tulips. Since I am a flower lover, for sure this site will be put in my fave list. For those who especially love tulips just like me, I would like to remind you that now is the right time to plant these flowers. I can't wait to see my tulips next spring time!

I am a Green Shopper

So, what keeps me busy today? Autumn time is here now and we need to slowly save the plants that we have outside. We are already having below zero temperature in the night and I noticed that a lot of plants and flowers in our garden are slowly withering. After doing some arrangements in my chaotic PC room, I decided to slowly bring some plants and flowers inside the house. For sure, I will be doing some green shopping again next year because there are some plants that are not coming back. Unlike perennial plants that keep on coming back every year, I don't need to put them inside the house. I wish I can have a conservatory for my plants to live all year long. Probably when I will win in the lottery.

Here are some tulips from last spring 2010. I will be seeing more next spring time because I planted more this month.

Yellow Narcissus and the Beautiful Quote

"Fierce drives the storm, but wind and waves
Within His hand are held,
And trusting His omnipotence
My fears are sweetly quelled."

these were the Narcissus that grew in our garden last spring time. I hope to see them again next year.

Happy Birthday Mother Mary

Happy Birthday Mother Mary!
Thanks for all the inspirations
you had given into my life
and to all people around the world.

TITLES OF MARY:

The name "Mary" comes from the Greek Μαρία, which is a shortened form of Μαριάμ. This is a transliteration of the Hebrew, Aramaic and Arabic name Maryam. During the Middle Ages Hebrew vowel systems were formed and the Hebrew vowel "a" changed (regularly) to "i" in a closed unaccented syllable, so that by the time the Jews began to use vowel points, they wrote it as Miryam. Mary's most common titles include The Blessed Virgin Mary (also abbreviated to "BVM"), Our Lady (Notre Dame, Nuestra Señora, Nossa Senhora, Madonna), Mother of God, and the Queen of Heaven (Regina Caeli). See Litany of the Blessed Virgin Mary.

Mary is referred to by the Eastern Orthodox Church, Oriental Orthodoxy, the Anglican Church, and all Eastern Catholic Churches as Theotokos, a title recognized at the Third Ecumenical Council (held at Ephesus to address the teachings of Nestorius, in 431). Theotokos (and its Latin equivalents, "Deipara" and "Dei genetrix") literally means "Godbearer". The equivalent phrase "Mater Dei", (Mother of God) is more common in Latin and so also in the other languages used in the Western Catholic Church, but this same phrase in Greek (Μήτηρ Θεοῦ), in the abbreviated form of the first and last letter of the two words (ΜΡ ΘΥ), is the indication attached to her image in Byzantine icons. The Council stated that the Church Fathers "did not hesitate to speak of the holy Virgin as the Mother of God", so as to emphasize that Mary's child, Jesus Christ, is in fact God.

The title, Queen Mother, has been given to Mary since she was the mother of Jesus, who was sometimes referred to as the "King of Kings" due to His lineage of King David. The biblical basis for this understanding is found in 1 Kings 2:19–20, where King Solomon made his mother, Bathsheba, his queen mother present in his royal court. This governmental practice is also found throughout 1 and 2 Kings and in Jeremiah 13:18–19. In ancient Middle Eastern cultures, it was common for a king to have more than one wife; however, the king only had one mother and she was an integral part of each royal court.

But render service true."

Skywatching in Disneyland, California

First of all, I want to welcome the month of August! This is my lucky month because I was born in this month. July is finally over. I can't imagine sometimes how time flies-by so fast. Anyway, it seems that I did not share photos of my favorite memes. Sorry guys, my days are always busy especially that I have to do a lot offline.

Here are some images for you. The first one was taken in Disneyland, California during our visit last June 2008. I have a yellow cosmos flower also as a welcome to this month. I wish everyone a lovely month of August! Take care folks!

Cosmos is a genus of about 20–26 species of annual and perennial plants in the family Asteraceae, native to scrub and meadow areas in Mexico (where the bulk of the species occur), the southern United States (Arizona, Florida), Central America and northern South America south to Paraguay.

Wolfstein Castle and The Orchids for my Memes

Good day everyone! It is just too hot outside now. I am thankful that we don't need an aircondition inside the house because we live in an old stone house wherein the walls are very thick. If I am not mistaken, the walls ranges from 1 meter until one and a half meters thick. The cold can stay inside for quite a long time. We usually open some of our windows during the night so that the cold wind can come inside the house. During the day, we closed all windows including the blinds to prevent the heat from coming inside.

Here are the images for my memes. Sorry folks, I am quite late.

Yellow Flowers and the Horses

We just happened to pass-by this house as we went walking yesterday. I believed that these flowers are perennial ones and I want to have them in our garden also. I will see if I can find some of these this week when I will visit a garden center.

I also have a picture of the horses below. This was taken during a parade we witnessed yesterday. I guess that's all for now. It's time to go to bed. Have a wonderful week to all!

The Castle Tower in Hohenfels and the Lovely Begonias

Weekend is almost over again! I hope you had a great one. Yes, I do and I am very thankful about it. I just watched the football game played between Germany and Australia. German won with a score of 4-0. That was truly a great winning especially for the German Football Team and the fans. I also had a great Sunday today after having a little sightseeing at the nearby town. There was an Altstadtsfest or Old City festival in Neumarkt, Germany and today is the last day. We also visited the rose garden in this district and it was very beautiful.

Here are my images for my memes. The first one is the tower of the castle ruins in Hohenfels. I went to the top of this hill last Wednesday and made some pictures of the surroundings. The second one are some begonia flowers. I wish you all a great week ahead. take care folks!

Yellow Narcissus in Our Garden

I don't have the desire to go online and do blogging for some days. I am feeling always tired due to some work at home and doing some errands. I am quite having a headache at this moment. That is also the reason why I am quite late with my memes. I apologize for that. I am finally sharing these beautiful Narcissus from our garden. They are gone now but I am happy that I kept some pictures from them. I took this image last month. Did you see some red lights from my car and the red tulips too? Have a great day to all!

Tulips from Our Garden and The Castle Tower

What a busy day we had today. I helped hubby again installed three windows today. It is quite dusty because we have to dismantle the old windows to put the new ones. Week by week we are doing it until it is finish. I asked hubby how old those windows are. He said that it is already in the house since he bought the house sometime in the '80s. I was kidding him that maybe it is already a century old. Anyway, I am sharing somes tulips from our little Keukenhof garden and the castle tower that is located just adjacent to our garden. An honor to live near the castle ruins. Tulips and the 150th Fire Brigade Anniversary in Neumarkt

Hello everyone! Weekend is almost over in Europe again! I hope you are having a great one. I always try to have a wonderful weekend with my hubby. Despite of the busy schedule of my husband we still find time to be together and go out to see places and festivals to have fun. This weekend is another great one. Without further adieu, here are the photos for my favorite memes.

The first one was taken from our garden today. Some tulips are still alive until now but a lot were already gone. The second image was taken during the 150th Anniversary of Feuerwehr or Fire Brigade in Neumarkt, a district in Upper Palatinate, Bavaria, Germany. That was a great celebration with a very festive parade this afternoon. I guess that is all for now. Wishing you all a wonderful week ahead.

Pansies and Primula Flowers

What a lovely day today is! I hope you are having a wonderful weekend. We will be going today to the nearest town to see a trade show. Before we left, I would like to share these flowers to brighten your day. The primula or Primeln are is it called in German are quite old already. It's color is slowly vanishing and the flowers are slowly decaying. The second image which are pansies are almost the same. I took this picture as we visited HB's twin sister yesterday. I also have some of these flowers in our garden. Since these are the first ones I saw in my file, I ended up selecting it. Have a wonderful day to all!
