Decorating with Hanging Lanterns

Hanging paper lanterns are a fun and elegant way to decorate for special occasions such as birthday party or wedding reception. They add a bit of whimsy to any event without going overboard, and can be incorporated into the decorations in various ways.

For a daytime event, you probably won’t light the lantern and can hang them by simply tying a piece of fishing line to the wire hook and then hanging them from the desired area. Another option is to string fishing line from point A to point B, and then hang single lines at different lengths attached to the paper lanterns on the main line. If the event takes place after the sun goes down, you can use illuminated paper lanterns to give a stunning glow to the party. Illuminated lanterns can be hung in the same manner as ones that are not lighted.

The Use and Art of Chandelier

The idea of the chandelier has shifted over time. A mention of this kind of lighting used to bring to mind the bright light fixture sparkling with ornate crystals hanging over a dinner table, ball room or main building entrance. One could not recall images of a chandelier without thinking of wealth, abundance or lavish lifestyles.

Christmas Lights Are On Now

Christmas decors in our dining window.
I believed some of you had already put-out your Christmas lights. Some might have their indoor or outdoor lights turning-on every night. I already did but we only have indoor Christmas lights! I am actually done decorating the house with Christmas decors since last month.  I am  happy that I did the decorations  earlier.

I would love to put-out next year some outdoor outdoor lights. This is the reason why I was browsing last night some Vistosi lights at Lighting55.com. They have a lot of choices from outdoor to indoor lights. If you are also looking for chandeliers, table lamps, floor lamps, ceiling lights and more.

Hopefully, I can put-out some outdoor Christmas lights next year!  Happy holidays!
