I always remember my trip to the United States last year especially our escapades in Disneyland. See this photo, this was my token in Disneyland. I love it there!! hope to be backed next time!! I am welcoming the love month now!! It is February already!!

I want to award this food as the most beautifully decorated one. A fruit salad prepared by Ritchel. I guess this is her specialty now!! It was really yummy that I took home a lot..lol!! thanks for preparing it Ritc!! next time make it double..para mas marami ang BH...hehehe!!

Guten Abend!! a German word which means "good evening". I hope you had a great welcome for the New year! Yes we do! especially that tons of food were prepared again last New Year Day's party. Good friends gathered together to celebrate and to welcome 2009. As usual, Filipino, American and German friends were present during the wonderful and lovely party. What do you think if you see these delicious and superb food!! American specialties as well as Filipino and German delicacies were cooked and prepared to welcome the bountiful and prosperous New Year! A champagne was also toasted by everyone. Different drinks, wines, fruit punch, beer and even my long last favorite nine years ago, tequila was also shot!! I guess the ladies were tipsy after drinking a shot!! Ritchel and Hubby prepared ham, sort of pork curry with vegetables, pumpkin cake, fruit salad, crabs, fruit punch, fresh fruits, scallop potatoes..did I forgot something guys..let me know!

Maria's Hubby cooked a German delicacy called Gesnitzel I guess..some sort of pork with mushroom and cream

I also cooked menudo apritada, adobo, pancit bihon, pancit canton, baked fish with olive oil from Ritchel, some sort of chop suey and a newly invented pork with oeyster sauce, red pepper and onions.

I'm not sure if I forgot some recipes here..leave your comment guys if ever I forgot something..thanks in advance!!

Ritchel's hubby's family specialty recipe, the pumpkin cake which is written in their family's cookbook..I was surprised to see their cookbook...amazing work!!.. My husband love this too that I have to take home three slices last time!! wanna try one?? wink!!

The Tower Bridge in London

I am finally here!!..in England...One of the most interesting and most visited spots in London is the Tower Bridge..You might be confused because London Bridge and Tower Bridge are totally different. The London Bridge is not the Tower Bridge. They are two different bridges. The Tower Bridge is the one you usually hear in song..."it is falling down", actually it is the Tower Bridge that is falling down everytime a boat is passing here!! a tiring but great walk we got here!!

I'm Finally in England

I finally visited one of England's very interesting and historical places, The Warwick Castle. But first of all, I would like to express my gratitude to Dae Loy for all the touring and accommodation he offered. It is really very much appreciated. This photo was taken at upon entering Warwick Castle. It is around 40 minutes from Northfiled, Birmingham where I am staying now, in Dae Loloy's beautiful home! We had a great day yesterday as we go around the Castle. There are a lot of things to see here of what history left for us!! hope that you had a great day today as weekend is almost ending!! take care everyone!!

I remembered again my two months vacation in the United States where I stayed most of the time in my sister in Las Vegas. I was amazed by lots of casinos in Las Vegas. In every corners are casinos specially in the strip. Even gas stations and shopping malls have slot machines. That's why Vegas is called as the entertainment capital of the world because you just see all kinds of entertainments there.

Now I'm back in Germany. The small town I live don't have casino. Sometimes I even want to play online casino..why not?? when I get time I will..I'm just a very busy body even I only stay in our home..

Seeing the World Through Cruising

I always love to travel. One of my greatest dream in life is to see the beauty of different places around the world. Just this morning as I woke up and had a breakfast, I was able to see some advertisements about Cruising in Grand Canary. How I wish I could but this time not yet because I just arrived from my two months vacation from America where I stayed most of the time in the fabulous city of Las Vegas.

Now I am back in Europe. And yes, I have been to different cities and countries in Europe. To name a few cities are Vienna, Salzburg, Linz, Venice, Nove, Frankfurt, Munich, Tirol, Trier and a lot more. I have a friend who is currently working as a Supervisor in Norwegian Cruise and even inviting me to spend with her time in some European Cruises. Of course I would love too!! Hopefully next time.

Burschenverein Feast in Hohenfels

Yesterday was the first time I witnessed the German Burschenverein Fest here in Hohenfels. "Bursch" a german word which means in English a boy, lad or a guy.. "Verein" on the other hand means society, group or organization.. To bring it together in my own word "Burschenverein" simply means Boys Society.

They had a parade yesterday as seen in the photos I got here. It was quite a long and fun parade. Perfect timing because they had the parade in the afternoon where the weather was getting better. It was raining during Sunday dawn till the morning here in Hohenfels. It is even getting quite cold especially as we went to the Feast tent duting the night.

Some neighboring places participated in the parade..to name a few are Burschenverein from Grossbissendorf, See, Teublitz, Breitenbrunn, Lengenfeld, Lupburg and a lot more..

You might think that German people are boring, but they are not!! They also love to have party especially feasts and carnivals all the time. They also want to have fun and good time just like me...

We stayed inside the feast tent until 8pm since my beloved husband have to wake up early today for his work. In short we had a great Sunday too here in Germany!!

I'm Finally back!! thanks to all!!

just a bit update for now!!!I'm finally back in Germany now. well, I am still feeling always tired after having my 2 months vacation in Las Vegas and visiting some days in California. I still don't have the desire to do blogging everyday but I have too esp. for visiting my blogger friends...guess still having a jet lag...

I am also in the process of adjusting the weather in Germany which is very different from hot Las Vegas. It is also summer time now in Germany but see the weather outside our window, it is gray and the sky is dark..

I slept good last night but it was quite short because I woke up early at around 7am today..well that is early for me because in vegas, I usually slept around 3-5am especially after partying and watching Gigs of my cousin Ann..

I just did a bit blog hopping today and visited some websites who leave messages in my tagboard and comments in my posts..I was really touched by blogger friends who kept on visiting me here even when I am away!! Thank you very very much for all your time and effort!!

took a sit after being tired of going around...taken inside Forums Shops in Caesars Palace..my favourite Hotel for walking around..there are lots of things to see here esp. for women...guess what??? shopping of course!!

very busy taking videos on the biggest LED Screen in the world which is only found in Fremont street, Las Vegas... you can see the bands playing here on that Dome shape LED Screen...it seems that there is always a feast here every night due to lots of people around the world who come and visit here having good time, fun and entertainment!!

Some More days in Las Vegas

Time just passed by so quick. Today is already the first of July. It's the middle of the year.. I am almost two motnhs in Las Vegas. I will be back to Germany in a couple of days. For sure, I will miss Vegas and all the beautiful and unforgettable things and experiences that happened to me here. I will never forget all of them.
Las Vegas is really fabulous.. full of fun and excitement!!truly a city of games and entertainment!!

I would like to especially thanks all the people who are with me during my stay here in Las Vegas...Special thanks to the following;

** my beloved sister Raquel and her hubby- thanks a lot for the accommodations and for touring me in Las Vegas....also for the shopping escapades and everything...hehehe...I really have a great time with you!! I will surely miss you all guys!!

** to my dear cousin Ann and her hubby and the whole family-- thanks also for the accommodation and the trip to Disneyland, California and Universal Studio, Hollywood, LA and other places more....For all the fun and escapades that we also had, I really enjoyed all of them..especially for all the Filipino food that you always cooked...special thanks to your hubby and his yummy and delicious food!! I will be missing all of you once I will be back to Europe!!
