Halloween Time!

Halloween (or Hallowe’en) is aholiday celebrated on October 31. Halloween activities include trick-or-treating, ghost tours, bonfires, costume parties, visiting haunted attractions, carving jack-o'-lanterns, reading scary stories, and watching horror movies. Irish and Scottish immigrants carried versions of the tradition to North America in the nineteenth century. Other western countries embraced the holiday in the late twentieth century. Halloween is celebrated in several countries of the Western world, most commonly in the United States, Canada, Ireland, Puerto Rico, Japan, Australia, the United Kingdom, and at times in parts of New Zealand.

Remembering My Childhood Days!

It is nice to remember sometimes our childhood memories. We might not have all the toys, cellphones and computers during our childhood days but we had a great time playing with other children in the neighborhood. The favorite games we used to play are hide and seek, "tumba lata" (hitting a can with a sleeper), sliding down the hill with banana pulps and a lot more. One thing I was really amazed before was when I am playing magnets. I was just so curious at that time when small metals like nails, hair clips, etc are attracted to magnet. My curiousity was answered when I attended the school..It is childhood curiousity anyway besides it is always a part of our livese..Looking for true magnets? Reid Supply is the best place!! have a nice evening!!

Five years of Togetherness

Five years being married!! Time is really running quickly. Imagine I am already married to my ex boyfriend? It is because he is my husband now! that's why I call him my ex boyfriend. I could still remember the first time I stepped in Germany, that was July 8, 2003. After all the papers were process, we got married on October 21, 2008. My first marriage and hoping to be the last in my life!! in God's will!! what else I am looking for!! I have a very wonderful, kind and very understanding husband. I really did not remember that we had a bad and big argument for 5 years of being together. I am happy with my married life..Life might not be perfect but at least, we succeeded in being together for 5 years.. and we both believed that we can do it until the end..It is just a matter of give and take..a matter of mutuality, love, understanding and respect. and I believed you will succeed in your married life too!!
After my husband' work, we decided to go out for dinner to one of my favorite restaurant in Velburg. It is a Greek restaurant and I really love the food there. ..(forget my diet again...who's on diet anyway!! hehehe!!) While waiting for our orders, we chatted with each other, the life and experiences that we had being together for more than five years..and we both said to each other..Success!! We keep on hoping and praying that God will give us more days in our lives to be together..My hubby even wished and mentioned another 50 years!! uy lola na jud ko ana!! Today is again a very memorable day!! Cheers!!

The Importance of Health Insurance

You might not know the importance of having a health insurance until you are hospitalized and have big hospital bills. I already have some experience about it. The first one was when my husband had an accident last year and was operated in his right ankle and the second one was when my Mother was confined in the Intensive Care Unit of the hospital. I am just thankful that everything just went smoothly with my husband's operation and he is back to work now and my Mother was also given another chance in her life after a 50-50 chance struggle due to complicated sickness. Most of all Thanks to God and the health insurance company who paid the bills. If you need a health insurance, just visit NC health insurance. Protect your family from life's uncertainty..Get one now!! I wish you a nice weekend!! It's TGIF again!!

Want Flawless Face

a better picture of my flawless face...wink!! ooopppss...they hired me at Vogue!! what an honor!!

Honestly speaking, I got a flawless face before!! wink..see my photo in my header here!! You don;t see any single pimples or acne on my face. My acne problem just started as I live overseas. My dermatologist also told me that it might be some hormonal problems, the weather condition and might be the effect of the oily and fatty foods I am eating. I want to agree with him!! but I'm hate it everytime I am getting some acne on my face. At least it is very better that before. If ever you have some acne problems, immediately seek for medical help or visit your dermatologist. You can also get some good information at Get that flawless face you dream of...avoid acne!!

Termites helped destroy New Orleans dikes?

This seems to be a very interesting article about New Orleans...Most of us know how termites can be very dangerous to your house and your other properties. If you have some termites at home, better act earlier now...keep reading this news below ...any comments or reaction are very welcome!!

Termites helped destroy New Orleans dikes?
Copyright 2008 by United Press International

NEW ORLEANS (UPI) -- U.S. scientists say they've discovered evidence termites might have been to blame for the failure of some New Orleans dikes during Hurricane Katrina.

Louisiana State University Professor Gregg Henderson says he discovered Formosan subterranean termites (Coptotermes formosanus Shiraki) in the floodwall seams of some New Orleans dikes five years before Katrina struck.

After the dikes were breached in 2005, Henderson and colleague Alan Morgan inspected 100 seams for evidence of termites where major floodwall breaks had occurred. They said they discovered 70 percent of the seams in the city's London Avenue Canal, which experienced two major breaks during Katrina, showed evidence of insect attack, as did 27 percent of seams inspected in the walls of the 17th Street Canal.

Henderson said the termites might have contributed to the destruction of the levees in New Orleans by digging networks of tunnels, which can weaken the levee system.

"I believe the termites pose a continuing danger that requires immediate attention," Henderson wrote, suggesting New Orleans' 350 miles of levees and floodwalls should be surveyed for termite damage.

The researchers detail their findings in the fall issue of the journal American Entomologist.

Forgot to Fix Our Faucets

one of the furniture shopping malls with an hour drive from our place.

I know my husband have a lot of things to fix in our house. As he had his vacation last month, he should fix a lot of things in our house. But since he studied for his driving training and exam, he forgot to fix and change our bathroom faucets. At least he made some new paints in our small hallway and in the kitchen too. My hubby is really very hard working. All plumbing and electrical stuffs that needs to be repaired inside our house, he fixed it all. Speaking of faucets.. If you need some, have the lists of any faucet products you need..I visited their site and found very great choices of all kinds of faucets!! A very cool site for your household needs!!

He has been telling me that ther are already a lot of new rules with regards to Hazardous Driving. With this driving license, he can drive trucks and all kinds of vehicles that carry hazardous material. I know my husband deserved to have the renewal of his Drivers License because he prepared and studied a lot before the training and examination came. Chat With my Sister

I chatted with my Sister from Las Vegas last Monday. I was happy to hear from her again after not chatting for more than a month. One problem is the time difference we have from each other. We took a lot of things especially the financial and economic crisis that hit America now. She was also sad that a lot of employees in other Nursing Homes and Hospitals were laid-off. As I was in Las Vegas last May and June of this year, my Sister was trying to find a good Life insurance for her and her husband. They found online a life insurance quote that best fit for their needs. Now they already have one. She said that it is better to have one at the early age that get it later. I'm happy to hear about it. If you are looking for for Life Insurance Quotes, Wholesale Insurance will provide it for you!! Always remember "The earlier, The better".

Trip To Prague, Czech Republic

The entrance to the Franz Kafka museum in Prague.

I am just sharing these photos during our trip to Prague last Sept. 27, 2008. That was quite a tiring trip that requires a lot of walking and hurrying but I was really contented seeing this interesting and historical city.."Prague is worthwhile seeing"

source of below information....

Franz Kafka has a museum dedicated to his work in Prague, Czech Republic. The term "Kafkaesque" is widely used to describe concepts, situations, and ideas which are reminiscent of Kafka's works, particularly The Trial and "The Metamorphosis".

In Mexico, the phrase "Si Franz Kafka fuera mexicano, serĂa costumbrista" (If Franz Kafka were Mexican, he would be a Costumbrista writer) is commonly used in newspapers, blogs, and online forums to tell how hopeless and absurd the situation in the country is.

It has been noted that "from the Czech point of view, Kafka was German, and from the German point of view he was, above all, Jewish" and that this was a common "fate of much of Western Jewry."

The famous St. Vitus Cathedral near the Castle of Prague...look I'm waving my hand!!thanks to my husband who had the patient in clicking the camera..have a great evening to all!!..I am slowly signing off!!...feel free to visit my other blogs for more updates!! Thanks in advance!!

I'm Excited About My Incoming Escapades

I already booked a trip ticket to United Kingdom on the last week of this month. Yesterday I received a call from some far away friends and one is from UK who will be coming with me in my escapades. I also hope to see more friends there like my classmates before in high school and college and also my other close friends who are already living and working there. My other friend told me that we will fly to Barcelona in Spain, Rome, some cities in United Kingdom and any other cities in Europe. I am really very excited. I also want to visit Algarve in Portugal. It is one of the most visited place in Portugal. Actually you can find a lot of information in about Algarve like being a Biowein (Biowine) producer, realty, golf tips and even videos and photos about this very interesting destination. I am hoping to visit there soon..How about you??

Aid to Financial Crisis

I just read from a friend's website about her co-workers who are retrenched from their jobs. I know it is a very sad story losing your job especially if you give your best doing it. Imagine a big Automobile manufacturer retrenching a lot of their employees. I guess, it is due to the bad economic condition that hit America now. I am just sharing this quick topic because it is also in relation about financial crisis which is also experience by a lot of people all over the world.

An ordinary employee for example who want to have an immediate solution to his financial problem can also find a way to solve it. The best thing you can do is apply for an immediate cash advance loan . Financial institution like Pacific Advance can help solve your financial problems in a very easy way. As the sayings goes like " Easy as eating peanut", they can provide you immediate financial aid as long as you have the basic requirements. It is very easy anyway!! Visit their site now guys!!

How are you guys!!

How are you doing guys? Time passes by so quickly. I forgot to greet you about the second Ber month. It's the first week of October now. I know a lot of people are excited for the coming of Christmas time. I also believed that some are also starting to pack and wrap their presents for Christmas gifts for their love ones and friends. I am sending again a balikbayan box this month to my family back home. To all my friends out there, I know I don't talk too much to you anymore because I am just too busy with my little home business (monkey business kuno..wink!!). ..I even don't have the time to do blog hopping..I hope I can do it next time. Sometimes I am visiting some blogs too but I can't visit all..So please accept my apology..

I also would like to express my gratitude to friends who help me especially in giving me infos about blogging. I really appreciate it!! I am happy to know some people in the blogosphere who are really helping with all their heart and don't expect for any return. I know more blessings will come to you!! I also know one person who have been telling people that without her I can't start blogging...kasi parang pinalalabas niya na kung di dahil sa kanya di ako kikita ng pera!! jelly jelly ka lang ano!! Of course, I can!! I know that "suya" lang siya kay di man siya kabalo mu kahibalo diay pero baliko....Aminin!!...In fact when you visit her blog and find perfect English there, it's her husband who is writing it. But anyway, thanks for telling me about blogging when in fact I already know about it since I joined friendster in 2004 but I just can't do it because I am working full time that time!!! Pasensiya na mga higala..unsaon man mao ma ni ang usa ka part sa blogging di short pagawas sa gibati!! ang di kasabot pasensiya na....bahala kamo dira!!! hehehe..Ilongo to ba!!

Let me continue with my topic.... I am not an expert blogger, but at least I am trying my best to share ideas, thoughts, opinions and especially my personal experiences in the blogosphere. I know I still need to know a lot of things about blogging and I can't deny that. Once again, thanks a lot to all friends who really extend their helping hands, their time and effort in giving me infos about blogging!! Conversation With a Friend

I had a conversation with a friend from United Kingdom last Friday through Yahoo Messenger. Thanks to this yahoo free service anyway. I have not seen this friend of mine ever since I left my home town. We were talking about the fun we had before back in the school days. I also mentioned to her that I will be coming to United Kingdom at the last week of this month. She told me that I am always welcome to her apartment. She also want to have some days off when I come there so we can also see more friends working and living in the UK. I told her that is a cool idea!! Before anything else, I went downstairs tonight to watch TV because my husband said that the keyboard computer is so loud that he can't sleep so fast. I decided to go down then. An extension cable fell-down at the back of the TV and I have a hard time getting it. I guess having a tv lift cabinet is a good idea. What do you think..I really need to sign off now!! Goodnight everyone!!
